Happy Monday everyone
I am just getting ready to go into the office for the day, not been in since waaaay before Christmas so I am looking forward to seeing colleagues in real life. Not a NSD as we will be getting some lunch and socialising a bit whilst we have the chance.
Pay day on Friday and I am looking forward to that! I'll be making another big payment off of the CC which will take me into the 3'sI have just arranged to have dinner with a friend on Thursday evening whilst hubby is working nights so that's one less NSD this month, but we haven't seen each other this year yet so it's definitely needed.
We didn't get as much done around the house yesterday as we would have liked so I will be doing some more later after work. We are having a bit of a spring clean, and clearing out al the things we haven't used in the time we have been in the new house. Plus a cull of clothes!
That's about it from me, I'm glad to see there's no frost this morning for the first time since I got back from holiday
Have a great day all

I really enjoy going into the office now LMD. Pre-lockdown it had become an absolute drag 5 days a week.
During lockdown I really missed the human contact. We now do 2 days a week in the office which works really well. It is so good and exciting to see colleagues again, something we kind of took for granted before. There is a huge amount of talking and catching up, but we also do some of our best collaborative work when we meet in person. Every now and then I bump into someone else I didn’t see in person during that strange 2 year period and it’s just wonderful.
Yes of course we end up with the odd catch up lunch or coffee but the extra cost is well worth it in my opinion. I saved a small fortune during lockdown. I was one of the lucky ones from a financial point of view anyway.
Well done on going below the £4.5k barrier. Onwards and upwards,or should it be onwards and downwards?!27/5/17 Mort 64705 BTs 1904031/12/17 Mort 59815 BT 1673007/04/20 Mort 49208 BT 1572128/07/20 Mort 47387 BT 1263414/11/20 Mort 45905 BT 10134 20/05/21 Mort 42335 BT 686811/08/22 Mort 32050 BT 2915Sealed Pot Challenge 16 Number 54 -
Thanks all, I have really enjoyed catching up today and we have made a promise we will try to do it on a regular basis, sometimes we struggle to get a time when we are all available.
I've just managed to cash £8 from Prolific and I've sent that to the credit card, it feels like I can say that now that I only have one left to pay offThere's still £9 pending in there too and once I'm back working from home tomorrow I will be keeping an eye out for more surveys.
Hope you're all having a good day

Glad to hear you had a good catch up. I have a friend who I have coffee with often and we keep saying we must catch up, trouble is I am still not wanting to go inside to eat or drink, so we are waiting for it to get a bit warmer....lol
P/fc been really slow for me today. Only had 1 and not enough to cash out unless I get some more today. Was hoping this week things were going to improve. I'm starting to wonder if more people have signed up to it since Christmas so we won't get so many now. It seems to be a cast of keeping logged into it all day if you want a chance of getting one, and I have other things to be getting on with....lol.Making the debt go down and savings go up

Prolific has been very slow for me as well @Makingabobor2
Had a couple a few minutes ago but the last few days have been a bit barren, although I haven’t often been around to check.
Glad your face to face meet-up with colleagues went well LMD

We have it in our contract to work 2 days from home and 3 in the office. Personally I’d prefer 3 from home.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1
