Happy Tuesday! DD had her mind blown the other day when one of her wee chums told her that her granny lives in Lanzarote. I don’t think she’d even realised that you could live abroad 😂 She’s now determined to live in Spain when she’s older

  • Morning all, I hope everyone is doing OK? We are halfway through the week and I am counting down to the weekend! No plans this weekend which is lovely...

PAD today is £31.25 to various places, including £9.25 to the sealed pot and £13 to CC7.  There are still 9 days to pay day but very few plans so that's not so bad.  Today will be a NSD, I'm heading to the gym after work and then catching up on some TV whilst OH goes to his gym class.

It's been absolutely freezing here over the last few days and the smart meter is going bonkers, I've not adjusted the budget from the 1st Jan increase so it just keeps flashing that we are over budget. The sky is all red/orange at the moment which looks lovely but I think this may mean rain later which will probably fall as snow :(

Surveys have been getting more frequent on Prolific and I have about £20 now waiting for approval, Qmee and C-cats not so great but little and often sometimes is just as good.

Busy day again for me, I hope you all have a good day!

  • Hi all. Up early with the dog today so I think I will start work early and then get a flyer this afternoon if workload allows.

£2 PAD sent to CC7 this morning and it will be another NSD for me. We are trying a new recipe book that OH received fro Christmas, it's one based on nutrition for exercising (training) and most of the recipes look really tasty. Last night we had a vegan one which was a cauliflower curry. It was really nice, but be cause it's aimed at those who are in training the portion sizes are huge and I'm finding I am only eating half of my meal. We will need to re-evaluate I think or choose freezing friendly options to fill the freezer up!

Looking at the Prolific thread, things are starting to get busier on there now so I will be keeping an eye on that today to see if I can add any to that pot.

Keep warm everyone and have a great day!

  • Happy Friday! We made it to the end of another week :)  I kept thinking it was Friday last night for some reason.  Hey-ho

PAD this morning is £10 split between CC7 and the sealed pot and it will be the final NSD of the week as hubby wants to go shopping tomorrow. I have some money in the account still so I should survive the trip, and I also have some Christmas vouchers I can spend too, so it should be a nice trip out. We don't often go shopping together.

I didn't get any surveys at all yesterday but I have already completed 2 this morning as I was up early (with the dog again) I think it's when he hears OH leave for work, but his his new job has an hour earlier shift time after this week's induction so this could get worse from his next lot of day shifts.  I may have to start getting up at the same time and be a bit more productive early doors.

I hope everyone has a great day!

  • I just want to say thank you for renewing my interest in doing surveys. Since the beginning of December I’ve earned over £60 - and I only do a few a day 🙂
That's brilliant, well done! £10 a week on average then, not to be sniffed at over the year eh?

Yes my target cash out is £10 a week. I don’t have a lot of spare time so probably spend 30 minutes a day at the most on them.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
