The diet will start when I get home!! Although I have been doing plenty of walking here and I’ve ‘closed all 3 rings’ on my Apple Watch every day since Saturday which is something I haven’t done for a while 😂 Life gets in the way...PADding is addictive...Saving's better than spending...My savings diary - Now for a healthier, wealthier me2025 1p challenge #41 | Cash envelope challenge #01 | SPC #017EF £1000/£1000 | Sabbatical £3677/£60002 -

Thanks. We are just at the airport now waiting for our flight to be called. It’ll be another very long day and no doubt we will sleep well tonight!PADded £5 to CC7 this morning, well over my minimum payment now so I no longer need to keep a track. Will be happy when I can sort through my spreadsheet and get it up to date. It’s felt quite odd not being able to do it but I’ve kept a note each day so I can fill in my budget journal.
We have to call at a Tesco on the way home for some supplies for the next few days and we can do a proper shop when hubby has started his new job. He will be finishing early for his induction week so he can do it whilst I’m working.
Hope everyone is doing ok? I will catch up on diaries properly tomorrow

Hi everyone, hope you’re all having a great Sunday. It was a late night last night and I was able to sleep in this morning which was lovely

Today is a NSD for me, I’ve sent £13 to CC7 and I’ve added £40 to the envelope cash challenge. The spreadsheet is updated and I feel back in control again. Maybe I should transfer it to my Google drive so I can access it on my phone? Just not sure about it being online….I’m trying to get ahead in the envelope challenge as there may be some weeks where I don’t have any cash. I’ve decided that any left over at the end of the month will also be put in here as a ‘surplus’ amount as suggested by @BlueJ94. All of this is being included in my sealed pot money too so I’ll hopefully get plenty of savings this year.I feel very relaxed after this holiday, far more than I usually would, and I don’t know if having used the sealed pot money from 2022 put away for spending has contributed to this, I think it probably has. I’m not concerned about money for the rest of the month which I would normally be.
I’ll stop waffling on now and crack on with the post holiday washing

I'm sure it's a great feeling to enjoy a holiday and know that spending is all budgeted for. It'd make a massive difference. I don't have any spending money as yet, I haven't even sent off for my passports. I keep forgetting to get the pictures done!
Welcome back and I'm glad that you have financial security for the rest of the month and that you enjoyed yourselves.Debt Free Diary:- The Mental Debt Struggle
