Happy Thursday guys and gals, I finally had a good night's sleep thanks to Nytol (other sleep aids are available) and I am feeling pretty good this morning
Did it help that hubby was on night shift? Almost definitely, but I'm still taking the win!
So, it's pay day tomorrow so I have sent £10 to CC7 as my PAD this morning, I may send some more this evening but I am meeting my friend for dinner and drinks after work so I'm not promising. Not a NSD today either due to going out.
I've decided I will definitely split my planned CC7 payment in half and hold some back in a Monzo pot until the statement is generated. It will take the worry out this month as I have a few birthdays and event tickets to pay for. We have also made dinner plans for Valentine's Day this year, we don't normally so it will make a nice change.
I think that's all I need to update on, it's the last day for album sales today so I am crossing all my fingers and toes. Last night's signing was brilliant and they were absolutely buzzing with excitement.
Catch you all later, have wonderful days ahead!

This all sounds so exciting with the ban signing and knowing famous drummers and living the dream... I can only imagine how excited they were and the crowds that went to see them. I chuckled at your 7 copies of the previous album and 5 of this one, but it makes sense and I would do the same!
It makes sense holding some of the money to CC7 back. I used to make the mistake of throwing everything at debt and then having to re-juggle everything when life happens.Debt Free Diary:- The Mental Debt Struggle

Life does have a habit of getting in the way, it just needs to behave a little while longer and give me a bit more respite.

Definitely a good idea to hold some of the money back for a while,
Glad you had a good night's sleep. I like a bed to myself, I must admit....no snoring or duvet pulling to put up with. Not to mention if he gets out to the loo in the night and puts all the light on...Making the debt go down and savings go up

Well, following last night's lovely sleep I have been awake since 1:30am and just cannot get back to sleep. In the end I got up as I was fed up of tossing and turning... not sure the dog knows what's going on
So, today is pay day and my PAD is £516 to CC7 and £14.91 to the sealed pot for the 1p challenge Feb payments. I am going to go out on a limb and claim today as a NSD as I will no doubt be asleep as soon as I finish work later!
In other news (thanks to prolific and shoppix cash outs) I am officially moving my DFD to 26th May, so that's just 119 days away now. It will be a few tight months to make the increased payments but I have still budgeted a good weekly spending amount for treats and socialising so it's perfectly achievable.
Last night I was on my personal laptop and it was really starting to go haywire, I just need it to cling on for a few more months! I'll try giving it another re-boot at the weekend and see if there's anything I can delete to help it limp along...
Enjoy your Friday's everyone, I will be mainly drinking coffee this morning

Thats fantastic LMD. You have done so well clearing down that debt. When I started on here your diary was the first one that helped me to keep focus, and I have seen you have inspired so many others too.
You should be on here as an Ambassador! Your focus and OCDhave kept you on the right track for so long and now the end is in sight, 119 days and counting. It will be here before you know it! Great work!

Thanks so much guys, I really feel like I am on the home stretch now providing that there are no dramas getting in the way. We all know you can plan a budget all you like but you can't account for everything!
Not sure I'm Ambassador material @shell16 but I will still take that compliment! Don't forget, I'd be prolific-less without your diary too

Thanks @Sun_Addict, I have more to pay towards it once the statement is generated so I am hoping to get to £3350 before next pay day.
In other news.... What's Rock and Roll? is No 1 in the UK album charts!!! I'm incredibly happy!
