You're still doing amazingly well with the PADs and what fantastic news about bringing forward your debt free date.Makingabobor2 said:You are doing so well with NSDs and PADs. Morning everyone! I am officially on leave today until next Tuesday
Which is the reason for the later than usual post. I will be setting off shortly to pick up my sister for a weekend of retail therapy and uninterrupted girls talk
I cashed out £3 from C-Cat this morning, I don't seem to be getting many lately where I don't get screened out which is frustrating but I am certainly not giving up. It's provided more than £40 towards my card debt in 1 month and that is definitely worth it in my book.
Today isn't a NSD as there is fuel to buy and the hotel to pay for, we will also be eating out. Unlikely to have another now until next week. My PAD was £6 to CC7 this morning, including the £3 from C-cats... I have over £16 in Prolific but only £2 is available, so I will keep my eye on that over the weekend.
Now for the bad news... It looks like my laptop is coming to the end of a very long and loyal life. Things are slow, crashing and even though I have done a re-install and upgraded to the latest iOS it seems I will need to start a 'new laptop' savings pot. I have had this one for 10+ years now so actually that's a long life for tech. It no longer holds any trade in value, even though in pristine conditionFingers crossed that it can hold out until I've completed my debt-free journey!
That's about it from me peeps. Enjoy your Thursdays, I certainly intend to!

Up early for shopping and hurrah for pay day. £300 sent to CC7 this morning as part of my PAD, there will not be a NSD in sight this weekend but I am OK with that as it is an annual trip that's planned for. It worked well paying up front for CC7 and then using PAD's to cover the minimum payment.
No more of an update. There was about £40 more than normal in my pay so that's good, will probably be wiped out by the increased cost of everything lately though.
Have good (black) Friday's!

That’s a good hit of the CC balance LMD,

Well, I have been more than a little disappointed with the Black Friday sales offers and have so far hardly spent anywhere near what I had budgeted for. Anyway, at least I don't have to worry about spending for the rest of the weekend.
I have managed to cash £10 out of Prolific and I have sent that over to CC7 just now

I didn’t notice anything great in the Black Friday sales. It’s not as good as it used to be pre Covid. That CC will soon be below £5k at this rate 👏I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

I’m the same with Black Friday - nothing grabbed me at all but I did buy a new budget planner for 2023 - not very exciting 😊You need to be content with small steps. That’s all life is. Small steps that you take every day so when you look back down the road it all adds up and you know you covered some distance.2
