I agree with you LMD, I am going to continue to do the surveys whatever happens on the money front. If you have spare time, better to be doing a few surveys rather than sat doing nothing, or playing games etc. And you can watch TV at the same time. Infact some mornings when I am home, I have the lap top open on the kitchen side with P/ifc, Cwd/lgy, Opn/Otpst & On/Pl open across the top so I don't miss anything....lol. CC is on my phone so I just do them when I sit down for a couple of minutes.Making the debt go down and savings go up

I enjoy doing them to be honest anyway so it's no hardship.

Morning everyone and welcome to the weekend.
I have no plans today so it will be a NSD. My time will be spent sorting some things around the house and organising the Christmas presents ready for wrapping next weekend.
My PAD was £1 to CC7, I will be keeping an eye out for studies throughout the day though!

£500 is crazy! And £600 for you @shell16! I'm so impressed with you both, that's very inspiring.
The surveys are definitely good, as I've made £15 on curious cats since the beginning of the week. It all adds up and is in my PAD Pot.

Good morning guys, I am starting to feel human again which is good and I seemed to sleep a lot better last night (finally!)
My PAD today is £10 to CC7, I have checked Prolific but there's nothing to cash out at the moment and there aren't many c-cat tasks for me so I will check on that throughout the day.
Today is another NSD for me, I don't have spending plans until I am in the office on Tuesday so hopefully another one tomorrow. I always think I need to achieve my NSD target by pay day, but it's actually the calendar month so we should be OK
I looked at the spreadsheet yesterday and I have officially moved my debt free date to 27th June 2023. This is 219 days away... If the surveys carry on the way they have been then there's a possibility we could be looking at May, but I don't want to get ahead of myself!
I hope you are all doing OK and that you have a good day

Glad you’re on the mend LMD. There seems to be plenty of bugs doing the round at the moment.
When you express your debt free date in number of days it doesn’t seem long at all. Strange to think how endlessly light and much warmer it will be in June. It’s beautiful clear blue sky here today though.27/5/17 Mort 64705 BTs 1904031/12/17 Mort 59815 BT 1673007/04/20 Mort 49208 BT 1572128/07/20 Mort 47387 BT 1263414/11/20 Mort 45905 BT 10134 20/05/21 Mort 42335 BT 686811/08/22 Mort 32050 BT 2915Sealed Pot Challenge 16 Number 54 -
Congratulations on being able to move your debt free date forward, that's amazing! 👏🏾 I agree, when seeing the date in days, it seems so close by. My date is 31 December 2025, based on not really PADding or focussing on the debt busting but sticking to paying £500 a month. But all my little extra bits I throw at it from my PAD Pot and money I get from my siblings that they owe me, has been really helpful. I might be able to clear it in July 2025, but I'm too scared to review my debt free date until the end of December 2023 at the earliest, as you just never know what curveballs life will throw at us...
Glad you're on the mend though. I've been avoiding most of my family as they all seem to have come down with the lurgies this week and I've not had my flu vaccine yet.

Thanks Antomac, I'm sure I will be perfectly fine for work tomorrow (rolls eyes!) The sun is shining here too but we have had some showers, the sun is warm though and it's encouraging after the past few days of gloomy weather. My mood is always lifted with the sunshine
I like to count down in days, as you said it makes it seem closer! I am just glad that the end of my debts are now in sight and I have no intention of racking up credit card debt in the future. Although, we must never say never as we don't know what the future holds of course. It would definitely be my last resort.
