  • Just a quick update this morning, not a NSD again today as I am out for lunch for a second day running. Yesterday turned out to be quite spendy but I had a lovely catch up with my friends.

PAD was £90.69 to various places including £5 to CC7 and £18 to the sealed pot. That's about it from me, nothing to cash out and probably little opportunity for surveys today as I am exceptionally busy.

Have a good, (if very rainy) Tuesday.

You are doing amazingly. I have a gym membership and it really helps my health - I make it me time! Keep up the hard work - prolific seems to stop for me too.

  • Thanks @bigbeff. I think I will enjoy it once I’m over the initial pain.  Had a good day today, but very tired now.

I’ve checked prolific and still nothing… 🤷🏻‍♀️ Oh well, I will check again tomorrow.  Marathon and not a sprint… I have to keep reminding myself!

It feels like the other day that you were excited to break into the £6k bracket and now I blink and your in the £5k bracket - wow! You've inspired me with Curious Cats and I've cashed out £6.88 in 2 days which I've put in my PAD pot, so thanks for that 😁.

Sounds like the gym will be good for you and as you have greater control of your spending, you'll be in a position to enjoy it without worrying about how you'll pay for it. I'm looking forward to my sealed pot for next year already - yes, I do lack patience 😂. You inspire me to be more organised though, and I'm hoping that I'll have a better handle on my finances this time next year.

  • You're not the only one finding P/lfc a bit slow at the moment. We are having a couple of days away, but I still keep logging in when we're sat around doing nothing and haven't had any studies at all since Saturday.

  • @Makingabobor2 - it certainly seems to have dropped off recently, both in number of studies and the places available so even if you spot one, it's full before you can register interest. At the end of the day it's free money so I am just grateful to have the profile/place as I believe that there is now a waiting list to sign up.

@Keedie I know! It feels that there has been a lot of momentum on the CC lately and I am in total agreement with the SPC. I joined the last one just as it had launched, but now I have taken part in 'declaration day' I am really looking forward to doing it again next year and I will be tracking my progress again with a trusty colouring in chart :)

Today is not a NSD, it started with a trip to the vets, but everything is OK with no treatment needed. My PAD is various, £1 from WeAre8 to EE bill, £10 to CC7 and £6 in change to the sealed pot.  A good haul this morning I think!

Will be trying to get some more surveys done across the board today, even the C-cats ones add up like you say @Keedie

    Have a wonderful Wednesday all

I've been on the Prolific waiting list since June, not heard a peep out of them. So although it's slow, the main thing is that you're both able to participate as despite the lull at the moment, it tends to be one of the busier/more sought after survey companies. And all those pennies really do add up!

  • They certainly do Keedie... some of mine have just added up and I've cashed £2 out of C-Cat, sent that to CC7 :)

  • Morning everyone! I was awake this morning early and feeling sorry for myself, I am full of cold and feeling under the weather.  Haven't even got dressed yet as I feel wiped out. At least I don't have plans over the next few days.

I made a £14 PAD this morning, sending £10 to CC7 and £4 to the sealed pot. This included a £3 cash out from c-cats from early morning surveying whilst snivelling and sneezing!

Today will definitely be a NSD for me, I have already declared it on the thread. Only place I feel like going is back to bed!

Hope everyone else is doing OK?

  • Finally had some studies approved on prolific and cashed out £12 which has been sent to CC7.  Since I have been tracking my 'free money' at the end of June, I have totalled over £500 now which is just AMAZING :)
