We are in it for the long haul now. No more easy wins for us. Just keeping plugging away at it. May 2026 should see us clear the credit card and the motorhome finance.I posted too early on my cash outs, just sent £5 prolific payment to the card!

Morning all, I have another busy day ahead of me today and due to the rain last night I didn't sleep very well so I am feeling really tired this morning.
PAD made of £10.16, 5 of which was to CC7 and the rest to the sealed pot. We may be going out tonight, depends if we have the energy to be truthful, so it may or may not be a NSD, I will report back later.
Nothing to cash out on Prolific this morning but I will remain my vigilant self. Hubby has checked and the BT will save him £100 a month in interest so I'm pleased he has finally done it... irks me to think how much he could have saved if he'd done it sooner! Anyway, he also said he is surprised at just how much I have paid off so I am pleased about that
I will be checking c-cats and prolific through the day and will do what I can.

Evening all, I see that the signatures have gone haywire again (rolls eyes) it's a good job I have my trusty spreadsheet to rely on!
Wasn't a NSD for me today, although we didn't go out this evening in the end, I did spot and purchase some Christmas presents online so they are now winging their way for wrapping

Good morning, it's bank switching day for me today and all seems to have gone to plan. Later today I will remove my old card payment details from phone, laptop etc and replace it with the new card details.
My PAD this morning is £2 to CC7 and I have already declared today as a NSD. This week is really busy at work and I have no evening plans except a bath and face mask! I am keeping track of payments since my statement and I still have £34 to go which is completely doable. I still have £6+ waiting for approval in Prolific and C-cats is averaging £1 a day at the moment.
Not much else to report, credit scores have taken a hit; as expected, from opening the first direct account but not really worried about that at the moment. I'm currently £540 in credit with the gas and electric so I'm also not panicking about that yet and I don't feel bad for putting the heating on yesterday.
Final predicted payment is now down to £614 on 27 June, but leaving the DFD at July for now. It's a long way off and things can go wrong!
Have a great Wednesday everyone

You're doing so well. Are you finding CCs are screening you out a lot more now? Last night I was literally just at the end of one that had taken nearly 15mins & it just suddenly screened out. So annoying. It seems to be taking a lot longer to get to £1 now.

Neither of us is a fan of a bath so ours very rarely gets used.1

Ooh I love a good long soak in a warm bath with a face mask on 😁 That's one thing I won't give up. I enjoy showers in the morning and when the weather is hot.
I've never dabbled with switching my current account, I've been with my bank since I was old enough to open a bank account. I've always been happy with them which makes me nervous about switching. Sounds like it's worth doing though, maybe I should consider it. Savings accounts I open up all over the place whoever is offering the highest interest.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
