A scarcity of fillet steak just wouldn't be cricket, eh @D_P_Dance? 😄Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Hi - apologies for reviving this thread!
My wife has received several of these threatening letters. She works in a&e and the hospital over issued permits for temp staff during the pandemic due to staff who were off sick. What are her options? She has written an email appealing for common sense but she is looking at £900 in fines for not wanting to be late for her job. Thanks for any constructive advice.1 -
Write to her MP and get them onside and to complain to the Hospital on her behalf, and to the MHCLG.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Sorry to revive the thread - just got one of these letters for a charge date of June 2019. I assume nothing came of this letter?
Do they send any more letters after this?
Thanks - just need a little reassurance0 -
