I have posted before a thread about debt collectors.   In the NEWBIES thread it is made very clear that you ignore debt collectors.

We are still seeing many new threads about DRP and many scared people so here are the facts ...


The parking company will use DRP after a failure with their own appeals service or by POPLA or the scam IAS

IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND ...
A parking company CANNOT sell a parking ticket debt to a debt collector.  

DRP offer a parking company a "no win no fee" service ..... OR .... they will add a charge, normally £60 ?

Automatically adding a £60 charge goes totally against the ruling of the Supreme Court and DRP are far too low in the debt chasing industry to even understand their own ignorance

BUT ... it's a scam operating on par to the famous ..... NIGERIAN scams

Therefore, a rubbish letter from DRP or other of the wild bunch like ZZPS , SAME COMPANY, you MUST ignore them ...... It does not matter what threats they make ....... THEY ARE POWERLESS

DRP and any other debt collector speak in Rubbish mode and can NEVER take you to court and can NEVER create a problem for your credit rating

IGNORE THEM, LET THEM WASTE THEIR TIME ...... which they will do

This is an image of the DRP web site.   Since this forum exposed this, the DRP page it is no longer visible to the public. BUT, DRP STILL ADD A FAKE £60 which they are not entitled to do

The proof you need to show a court (if it goes that far) that debt collectors offer a FREE "NO WIN NO FEE" SERVICE ..... Therefore if a PPC adds unknown amounts such as debt collector cost, or instructs a legal to claim these extra charges, you will know it's a lie.

Surely the solicitor also knows it is a le, but they go along with it.   Therefore, should not the solicitor be reported to the SRA?

No, because the sum of money is decided by the client (so the solicitor will say).

I disagree,  solicitors have a duty to ensure that their clients do not raise false claims, thus exposing themselves to sanction.   Read this.

Yes they do have a duty.
C-m did say in brackets .... (so the solicitor will say).
I think with regards to the SRA, complaints should be in BIG BOLD letters so they understand

Whatever they may say, their first duty is to the court.  IMO everry time they allow an unlawful amount to be added a complaint against them shoulfdbe made.

Seriously folks ZZPS and DRP are as wild as they come.

Would you try to phone a zoo to speak to the local rattlesnake or Tiger ?    NO, SO WHY ARE YOU THINKING ABOUT PHONING ZZPS / DRP

They could send you a million letters and the result will be the same ...... THEY ARE POWERLESS AND CANNOT DO ANYTHING.  Treat them like you would deal with gargen vermim
