Thanks for the info. I had a quick read but I'm in N.I so it may be a bit different. Nothing but bullies £170-£235 for a parking ticket is ridiculous. I guess I'll find out in 7 days if they'll try take me to court.Well aren't you the lucky one. If the driver's identity hasn't been given to the parking firm, then in NI the registered keeper is bombproof. There is no legal capability to hold the RK liable. Just ignore them unless you get any kind of court papers - about as likely as the Tooth Fairy, Father Christmas, the Easter Bunny and Puff the Magic Dragon turning up at your place together for tea this evening. Sleep easy. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

They are full of cr*p .. they rise from the sewers and after a while, sending you letters only fit for the cat litter, they then crawl back into the sewers waiting for the next mug.
Debt collectors in the private parking industry simply waste their money and CANNOT collect anything ..... just very low life animals after your money ... A SCAM

Your best bet is to read the NEWBIES thread. The fourth post of the NEWBIES thread tells you exactly how to deal with debt collectors letters.
If you ever receive a Letter of Claim, then you need to be reading the second post of the NEWBIES thread to discover how to deal with it. At that time, if you want help with your issue, you may want to start a new thread.
There is NO 7 days .... there is NO paying DRP anything ... there is NO contacting DRP, they employ stupid bullies .... they are money scammers
DRP CANNOT TAKE YOU TO COURT
Do you want to be scammed ???3 -

I like the countdown 'Days to Legal Action' ..... tick, tock!
Abigale showing a friendly smiley face, yet just looking to screw you (ahem!).
Quite different to DCBL who love bragging about being on Can't Pay Take It Away which everyone knows was cancelled due the controversial abd criminal activities of their rent-a-thug goons criminally forcing their way into people homes, humiliation tactics and human rights being breached! They should be ashamed of this programme, but I swear they put this their letters in order to instil additional fear!3 -
