This shows exactly why these parasites need to be put out of business, or at least regulated
That letter is designed to mislead a consumer. Absolutely designed to do so.
It is also full of lies. Provable ones.
@Coupon-mad do you know anyone that might like to see such a shoddy attempt to intimidate??4 -
Sorry BT!You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1

DRP are not the only WONGA style members in the BPA, they are crawling out of the woodwork in Sussex
Before we can expect money scammers to clean up their act, the BPA must clean up their act, it simply makes the BPA look like scammers2 -
Actually, I should apologise to Abigail. Perhaps English is not her first language, but instead she only speaks Scamglish.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks3

"If you choose not to pay and want to "invest" in moving your case to court action". I did not realise that DRP were into ISA's as well.
The sooner that these companies come under FCA regulation the better. It will see many of them off.
Roll on CoP it cannot come soon enough. Lets hope that it has teeth.

Regulation would finish a lot of them. It is why there were adverse comments to this by the PPC contingent on the consulation. They don't want regulation.
For one thing they would have to check whether the recipient was vulnerable before the debt collection process started. We are seeing a lot more vulnerable posters on this site and will see more as a result of Covid. It's very sad really because this is not the ideal platform to deal with the vulnerable especially posters with learning difficulties and autism.
There is only so much that can be done on here. They really need face to face, one to one contact to help with the paperwork.

The village must be missing him/her3 -
I answered their call, thought it was a parcel courier. Most unpleasant and rude.
Anyway they told me my situation with an outstanding 'parking fine' (private invoice) was just like if I was going to risk going to court for anything else like a speeding ticket. Although I did point out that it was his client who had started a private contractual dispute with me that I simply disagreed with.4 -
"I answered their call, thought it was a parcel courier."
Did they come to your door? If so this is awful, the claim has not been proved in court and no questions have been asked as to whether you are a vulnerable person.
I would bring this up in court if they have been calling at your house.
I hope that these bottom feeders get such a big shot across the bows soon.
