When appealing you must follow their instructions. Otherwise you run the risk of the appeal being ignored.

Except you don't say who was driving...obviously, if they ask.

    Latest Update

So, the PCN was appealed (with no admissions as to the driver) and today received an email from CP Plus stating that they’ve rejected said appeal. They claim this is due to compliant signage and multiple signs within parking area etc. No doubt they spout this drivel to everyone and anyone who have the misfortune to have dealings with these shysters. A POPLA code has been issued, however, an email is on its way to the local MP to get their involvement in this issue. Very disappointed in MOTOs stance on this also. Whatever happened to their policy of not charging drivers who had overslept whilst taking a nap for reasons of safety?? Which, in this instance, is precisely what happened. CP Plus, it seems aren’t backing down. Unfortunately for them, neither are we!!

Typical response and seen here almost daily in Moto and roadchef and other MSA cases

Only today we had one cancelled with parking eye after several email complaints were sent to the manager , finance director and CEO , persistence pays !! So keep complaining !!

Popla is the last resort in 4 weeks time

Agreed, hence the email on its way to the MP. After all, MPs across the political spectrum have openly displayed their utter contempt for these parasites. Hopefully this will be the ace in the pack for us and it won’t even get to the POPLA stage.

    It won't.

As @Redx says, you need to be complaining to MOTO's site manager, finance director and CEO.

Did you actually email this address - Ken McMeikan (Ken.McMeikan@moto-way.co.uk), because over the past few weeks he's been swatting away PCNs like flies off rotting meat!

I emailed Ken McMeikan regarding the circumstances (ie driver feeling extremely tired and for safety reasons, fell asleep in the car park) and he basically washed his hands of the matter. The Commercial Manager also emailed stating that he believed that any appeal would be successful. Not the case this time, unfortunately.

Write and tell him that he was sadly mistaken.

Errmm, but it is 100% win at POPLA and you already know why!  Easy peasy at POPLA with a CP Plus one.
