This is like pulling teeth!
It is not a mistake, that is the second time that you have used that word. What do you not understand about the FACT that you do not need a permit? They are trying to scam you.
The only way that you could avaid court is to pay them. Go to court, win, and they will pay you.
Are you a tenant or a leaseholder?
I'm attaching some of the pictures they presented as evidence in case it helps:

Because it is not mentioned in your Assured Shorthold Tenancy. The AST sets out your rights and responsibilities Did you not research "primacy of contract"?
You have a legal right to park. no permit is required. and this attempt to charge by a private parking company is unlawful. If they take you to court it is possible that YOU could sue THEM.
However, this is not painting by numbers, you will need to do a lot of reading, and get your head around some reasonbly difficult concepts. Are you up for it?You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1 -
I hope they are not advocating driving around with that permit in the place they indicate -totally obscuring the driver's vision!0

I hope he puts the permit in his sock drawer. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0
