The teenage years are certainly interesting......mine is a boy so not too bad. His best friend is a girl and her mum would willingly give her away some days 😄

Yesterday was NSD number 1 - I lose count at some point every month but feel as though I should at least try. I made lunch for three people and then dinner for three people but the plus one was different for each meal. Today should be another NSD as my aunty is taking me out for lunch for my birthday (which was last month). I will offer to pay though. No idea where we're going either. I don't think it will be anywhere too expensive.

I'm thinking about grocery spends today.....I would try shopping more at Aldi but the cat won't eat the cat food from there and they don't sell wood cat litter which immediately means I need to go to another supermarket as well. I suppose that I need to do it for one week to see if I do save money. I do like to do the quick early morning run round @sda then self checkout for extra speed though, I really don't enjoy food shopping. I might try doing the top up shop there on Thursday as that doesn't include the cat fud.

I have a Tesco and and a Lidl very close together and I usually buy the bulk of my list in Lidl then pop into Tesco for a quick self scan and get everything I couldn't find/ didn't like in Lidl. This Lidl opened in the last year, there is another one in town but not very close so I didn't go very often. This one is really handy!

Food shopping all done. Home Bargains is next to Aldi and I had a list of things needed from there so I went in both. While I was there I bought cat food and some other things that would be on next weeks list - spend was £2.64 less than it would have cost me in Asda and means I don't have to go back to HB next week. If I allocate the spends properly I have £12.98 left from this week and I have used £11.53 from next week which leaves me £58.47 for the rest of the groceries.

Slightly boring but it took my mind off the HT being away from home for the night. Due to his early waking habits he has only been away from me for the grand total of two nights in his whole life and one of those was when his father was alive and he minded him.

    Well done on the shop.
And anything different always feels strange. I’m sure the HT will have had lots of fun wherever he was 😁 (he wasn’t under a bridge was he? Back to his troll roots!)

He stayed over at a friend's house. He's back now as his partner has gone to work and he did text me a few times last night so I didn't worry.
