Nice one. As predicted. That makes your case the 70th one since August, and you are now included in the DCB Legal thread of shame.
Woohoo, I've always dreamed of being added to that list.
    Woohoo! Indeed!

    ANOTHER DISCONTINUANCE!

    ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!

And we sincerely hope that you are au fait with the need to respond to the final Government Public Consultation?

Looks unlikely to be published before Xmas, but keep your eyes peeled in early 2023.

We all need to ram the nail in the coffin of the false £70 'DRA fee' add-on, that actually funds the court claim and toxic CCJ culture, as well as the DRA gaslighting of people.

Just checking you are among those ready to respond to the questions as you have personal experience of how this crap feels?

Please come back here when it opens, and you can make sure you don't miss the Consultation:

If you are not a regular reader, to be alerted you'll need to bookmark the thread by MSE_JC at the top of the forum and enable (on your profile) email alerts for bookmarked threads.

Then join us when the Consultation opens.

Sorry if you knew all this already - I had no time to check back through the thread.
I am au fait with it and shall happily contribute. Unfortunately, so many people settle/pay these bogus claims that it reinforces the system and I agree, we need to halt this.

    Thanks so much for everything.
  • Whilst we await the long overdue consultation, don't you think these total fools are currently doing the job for us ?

You'd like to think so, but we don't yet have any handle on the new ministers in the DLUHC (other than Michael Gove) and whether they will be able to handle this as robustly as (the missed) Neil O'Brien did, or whether they are going to turn out lily-livered and supinely concede to the PPCs and their henchmen.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

As said before, Rishi has taken on old "has beens"
Rishi Sunak approved the new code of practice hence it is now law as confirmed in the Queens speach and I can hardly see King Charles reversing this

Now, if Rishi goes against his own approval he will be classed as a hypocritical PM. That is not a vote winning prospect for him because this parking scam adds a huge burden on the public and the courts

It is up to the PM to put in place ministers who understand that the great parking scam can never be in the interests of the public.  Will the PM understand that a £100 parking ticket and the fakery that follows means mums not feeding the family or payimg their gas bill etc.
Such a parking ticket to the PM is like paying for a postage stamp

    And YES,
Neil O'Brien should control the DLUHC, Gove does not have the interests of the public, just like the other bod Robert Jenrick who is now  Minister of State (Minister for Immigration) .... sacked by Boris ... another has been

Two years for a general election or less, will Rishi wake up that taking on failure "has beens" to the job will be his downfall

We know MP's read this forum, .... Tory jobs are serioiusly at risk unless they get to grips and tell Rishi what to do,

I know of one Tory MP who now earns his living stacking shelves in a supermarket

The crackdown on Parking scammers is now in the hands of Rishi .

YES, Rishi has a lot to deal with ... BUT a so called professional like Rishi  must delegate, just like any successful business, if he cannot do this, he will fail ?

There is no bigger problem than to protect the public from the biggest scam ever seen, the private parking clowns
