@candygirl.... put more mixer in your gin LOL!
On a serious note though.... I'm sure you're relieved at not having Parkinson's though. Hope they diagnose you soon.
I had good intentions of doing another chair today but went out for a few things and feel too tired now as I'm back home.
Love the pic of things to quit..... so very true.

kxmx.  Well done on your progress with decluttering,  feels great doesnt it.

Well after two weeks of being poorly, my house was a tip.  I've had a tidy up and deep cleaned the bathroom.  That's enough for one day.  😁

barbch.....take it easy, the chair can wait until another day.

  • I don't know if it helps TC but I am going through a round of tests too.  Have decided to ignore the voice in my head that is worried/concerned.  I am tired enough as it is.  I was born tired....... :)

Good luck with finding an answer.  I will keep fingers crossed for you.

Today I  am recovering dining room chairs... I've done one and it was a bit of a struggle.... so today I  need to find a better way of working.
    Hi Barb

I love the fabric, I wonder if I've seen some like that before. My mother made curtains and loose covers as a professional for many years from home.

I have two sets of small curtains that I inherited from my mother around 35 years ago. I didn't need them at the time but they fitted perfectly into my next home, but not this one. Your post reminded me of them.

@Frogletina the fabric is over 30 years old and my mum had made curtains with it. When emptying mum's house I came across it it was wrapped well and as clean and new looking as the day it was bought......
So keeping things isn't  all that bad.... and it does bring back memories and has now been put to good use.
I love the curtains that you have.... it's fabulous fabric (would look good on my chairs LOL!)

@candygirl.... let's all go to Goa and drink Gin when this is all over and our decluttering etc is done.... 😉

@TC77..... I  hate throwing thinks away.... hence the accumulation of clutter, but I  find a use for things, my problem is getting round to it! The mattress topper was from my mums house and has been in the attic for 3 years. I didn't need it on my bed and nobody in the family did either, so I always intended to use it in some kind of upholstery project.
