All the PDTs are covered but it wasn't free!  What a ridiculous statement from them - how on earth did they expect anyone to be able to pay if the only means of paying (x 5) was out of use?
They do use an app/phone payment. But this wasn't clear that it needed to be done. They state on their email that signage was on the machines to use alternative method. But with every machine covered I didnt even walk over to look. With 7 of us all getting numerous tickets it obviously wasn't clear.

If that was a change, it had to be shown on signage that it was going to be changed at some point in the future and it should have been given a grace period whilst the new system "bedded in".

Redx - the issue date of claim was 12/01/21

I have sent AoS (via MCOL) 26/01/21.

With a Claim Issue Date of 12th January, and having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Monday 15th February 2021 to file your Defence.
That's two weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence and it is good to see that you are not leaving it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look at the second post in the NEWBIES thread.
Don't miss the deadline for filing a Defence.

^^ Great post and suggestion. Please do go with it. This really needs exposing ^^
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

As well as your MP, I suggest you also complain to Boris. Point out that this is a scam, and the stress is making you and your colleagues ill. Neither he nor the NHS can afford for you to be off work because of the actions of an unregulated private parking company. Point out that MPs across all parties have called these companies scammers, rogues, and bloodsuckers, and he should contact Sir Greg Knight MP if he needs more information.

This will certainly be the next step for all of them if the IPC don't get these cancelled.  There are at least 19 PCNs this posters is aware of, some paid.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
