WHat about your letter is different in any way to the advice in the newbies thread? Cant you see what category it fits in?
  • I have had a 14day from DCB ltd over a 2016 PCN which I ignored at the time. So do I ignore them and request SAR from UKPC ? Or do nothing? Just need clarification thanks

Ignore DCB Limited (but not letters from DCB Legal), but send UKPC a SAR - get to know what they hold about you and the VRM of your vehicle. See the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, second post, for the ID you will need to send with the SAR.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

the infamous 14 day letter is only a mug hunting letter to see who will pay their over inflated claim

If you get a 30 day letter it's the next stage trying to intimidate you.   Simple answer for these clowns, PROVE IT

YES, send UKPC a SAR, costs them money to reply
  • Sorry to hope on this, but I’m in a similar position with the 14 day notice. Should a SAR be sent during this period or once the 30 day letter arrives?

IMO an SAR should be sent at the first opportunity

    See my post above yours

YES, send the PPC a SAR, costs them money to reply.
If the PPC instructs DCBL to send out these letters, the very least we can do is return the favour
You need the info they have on you
  • Thanks for the reply. I’ll send it off now
