yep...it's great news 🤬. Switched to Simplicity after being SOLR'd to ScotPower from YE and hey presto less than a week later I'm back in the same process.Probably wouldn't be too big an issue if it were just Simplicity with 50,000 to SOLR, but with GNE going at same time with another 360,000 it's going to slow things down for sure.Who's your money on next to go ....Neo, UP, Neon Reef, Green Energy?0

If 6 weeks with SP (SoLR'd from YE like you) hadn't wiped out my cashflow, I'd happily wager you a tenner on Symbio. They haven't been paying their RO's and FIT's to Ofgem and are about to be hit with a £100K fine.
I doubt they'll last until the end of February.?
As someone said on another thread, we'll soon be down to the Big Seven at this rate.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

I'm due to join Symbio next week and have been watching their prices since I signed up at new year. Almost immediately after I had done so they raised their rates, then a couple of weeks later brought them down to the extent that I could have done a slightly better deal (but nothing significant) but I see that in the past couple of days their prices have gone up again perhaps in response to the fine imposed by Ofgem. I hope they survive for a while as I am looking forward to a bit of entertainment as one of their customers having heard so much about them from this forum!0

Fast catching up with you on SOLRs....didn't expect 2 in less than 2 months.
Anyone found out what pushed Simplicity over...just find it odd given that they have just started promoting EV chargers and rolling out smart meters0 -
SOLR for Simplicity is BG Gas Evolve
Ofgem appoints EDF to take on customers of Green Network Energy, and British Gas Evolve to take on customers of Simplicity Energy | Ofgem

If they stick us on Direct Online Only v4 fixed (which is the only tariff I get when I do a quote through BG Evolve site) then, without taking a yet another risk on one of the smaller providers such as Neo, Goto Energy or Neon Reef/Zog combo, there only seems to be about £50-60 saving to be made by switching with the latest rates available now (with Avro). Looks like a case of bunker down, take the hit and stay put and see what's available in the market come late spring/summer.0
