EDF reply to someone on Twitter today "we're still waiting for Green Network Energy to send customer details over to us and will be in touch with your welcome pack as soon as we have your info"

Here we go. "it's not me sir, its him". Blame game starts.Almost up to another DD, putting me even further into 'credit', and STILL no details about anything.0

Well I had the email from MSE and according to the energy club, my new rates are 12.926p per kWh, Standing charge 20.370p per day, I ended up on the Variable 5 tariff. With Green Network Energy (the "My Account" area is still online and showing my Direct Debit payment that went in for February), I was paying 12.957 and the same standing charge. So I'm actually better off, by a whole £1. Woo.1

Well send like I'm moving to V1 but the estimated yearly usually is a lot more.
On green it was 14,264 kWh for gas and 2439 kWh for electric.
EDF are saying 18,276 gas & 2971 electric.
My annual estimate total payment is £932 on Green but EDF are saying £1112. I am actually also in credit of £264 at present with Green and they reduced my direct debit
I notice it says Sept 2020 on the EDF one even although they are just taking over

These annual estimated usages are a waste of space in my opinion. The supplier I'm leaving for gas (HUB) has 7819 kwh -actual usage is more like 17750 kwh !! And the leccy was underestimated vs actual as well.!0

Lucky you I have heard nothing from EDF. If I do not hear something very soon I will be changing to a new supplier. I will not be staying with EDF anyway as they force you to get the detested smartmeter.

I was hoping that the switch would all be sorted before the next DD is taken (or not in my case as I cancelled the DD once GNE went under given that I had a £500 bill credit with them). That has been reduced by the DD 1st Feb and will now be reduced by the DD 1st March. I just wish there was a timescale and I can get through to the other side and then get a good deal in the market before price rises kick in - maybe that is why EDF are taking long time?
I got the e-mail from MSE saying I would be on V1, but that seems expensive.0 -
Just comparing tariffs, my bills are going to increase by about 23%. I understood that the deal was that EDF promised no increases before September. Have I missed something?0
