Not a NSD today as I had to pop into L*dl for a few bits for breakfast club for key worker students for the morning, bought them some choc chunk muffins as a treat and also some grapes as with only a few in they haven't been getting as much fruit lately. I also found two packets of two marinated salmon fillets in the markdowns for 90p each and two litres of organic semi skimmed for 70p so £2.50 on those. We had a cheapie dinner of homemade mackerel pate on toasted sourdough from yesterday, tomorrow we always eat at MIL's (she's in our bubble) and I find a glass or two of wine is a medicinal necessity.
Tomorrow is Fareshare day at school, we used to get a delivery for breakfast club and food lessons but have continued with it since June last year and now pack it up and deliver it to families in the community.
Today I'm grateful that changing the way I was using teams (nothing complicated, just binned class notebook and went back to assignments for those 'in the know) made life easier and did engage students more, that my routine covid test was negative and that I had extra money to go into the savings account when I completed the budget.Mortgage Free 23 December 2020

A spend day again today as did a small top up shop (under £10) plus got petrol. Also bought various things for work but will get the money back for that tomorrow from petty cash.
Grateful for getting out for another walk today with a service user, lots of veggies (soup for lunch, sausages and roasted veg for tea), my car, listening to the wind howling outside while I'm cosy inside.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Tuesday- NSD 2/15.
Rain, sleet, snow and a biting cold wind, so today alternated between getting cold and trying to warm up 😆 .
Have eaten sensibly today and plenty of steps, but not drunk very much water at all! Must try harder.
Have been "targetted" by a scammer, but luckily caught on that it was dodgy without any ill effects other than a bit of stress before I twigged it was a scam. A very official looking email now reported online to Action Fraud.
Grateful today for effective heating in the house and car, DD "crafting" with the recycling, my to-do list getting (slightly) shorter.12 -
Evening all 🌛
Had a quiet day today at home... I progressed on a few decluttering-type activities, though still a way to go. I will keep at it over the next few weeks. Have a pile of old journals and notes from odd courses here and there so plan to amalgamate them too.
Today I am grateful for:
1) Food in my fridge and a home-made chilli I had forgotten about
2) A free webinar this evening which was really good
3) The progress I have made on myself. Well done me!
NSD number 1 today

NSD#1 today. Had raspberries with my breakfast and salad with my tea so have managed 5 portions of F&V. Drank water but could've drank a bit more; drink loads of tea now WfH. Had a walk at lunchtime which was good as it then rained for the rest of the afternoon and evening.
