NSD number 3 today, work is keeping me busy but I hit a wall at about 4pm today. My caseload has gone up loads and no sign of it slowing down. I have a week off soon, even though it's lockdown it's much needed. Not much else to report, just about to have a wee glass of wine in the bath (good for my back is my excuse - whether that's the wine or the bath I can't say) and then dinner before the football later.7

After my 3am productivity and a busy day at work, I’ll keep it brief.

Team Turtles, how are you all?
I am on NSD no. 2 - am doing every other day at the moment it seems, but I have noticed that the beginning of the month.
So I have been researching all around, and decided that I would do a bit of the 7 baby steps method, well I am going to have a go at the first 3 as a strarter for 10, well 3.
It was the first of 2 pay days for the month today, due to the job transition. So, rock and roll, 2 lots of budget and putting money in pots for Feb. Still doing major battle with the power company, I want that £1200! I am emailing and phoning every week now, and if its not resolved in another 4, I will be contatcting the Ombudsman.
Grateful for

- doing my full practice at yoga this morning
- the last bit of bathbomb from Christmas.

Thursday- NSD 3/15.
Not much going on! Every day is a repeat of the one before- just like everyone else I'm fed up of lockdown!
Grateful today for winter tyres on my car, waterproof boots and cosy clothes!9 -
I didn't check in yesterday as we went straight to my MIL's when I got home.
So far I haven't managed a no spending day as I've had to collect things for school on my way home and have ended up buying bits. Two x 90p two marinated salmon fillets, two x 90p four pork loin steaks, 95p bunch of daffs for MIL and a bag of bread flour today. Tomorrow is more promising as I'm wfh.
I'm grateful that yesterday we had a reasonable Fareshare delivery with only one random item, a 3kg tub of caramelised onions, fortunately one of the cleaning staff claimed it to make chutney. Anyone who has had involvement with Fareshare will no that their deliveries can sometimes contain some very random ingredients. Although what some of our families are going to make of venison ragu I don't know.
Grateful as well that we could make more mortgage overpayments and that my bread came out well after a complete lack of practise with any type except sourdough.Mortgage Free 23 December 2020

Lovely sunny day so filled more 2 l bottles with water from buckets in two locations, buckets were then used to bail soil/ stone mixture out of a large bag by the gate (when we filled in the area for the bins to stand on, we ran out of buckets before we had finished the digging so I put the huge heavy plastic bag by the side and told my young helper to shovel the rest into there). Lots of the bin bags, rubble sacks and bags for life that have been used to protect surfaces whilst painting or have been used for holding stones/ soil/ or a mixture have been pegged on the line to dry out. Aforementioned large bag was put over one of the sidebars of the polytunnel (will need to dry out so the mud residue can be brushed off).
Small emptied metal buckets (small as in 10 L rather than builders buckets which are 40 l) have been put by the area I want to work on so they can be filled as I work. Then at 10 am I came in to have my breakfast (using up the last of the ham and the scrapings from a tub of cheese spread, the remainder of the pepper I chopped the other day and a few cherry tomatoes). Was really worn out so decided to have a quiet day working on my sewing project whilst finishing off a film. My neck and shoulder are still really painful and could not find the ibuprofen gel (found this evening). Putting on and taking off clothing over my head makes me yelp.
However at about 3 pm I went back outside to restart the wood painting. I only meant to do an hour (that's when my back and other bits went on strike) but I carried on until nearly 6 pm (some of the street lights were on) hating every minute but determined that I would not be going out tomorrow to finish it off. Only about an inch left in the bottom of a 2.5 l paint pot so can touch up any bits that need attention (and check the fence and shed for any worn patches. Also put the 2 l water bottles in the trolley and moved it by the shed so I could start hiding them behind there for the time being. Still couldn't shut the shed door but pushed it part shut. Buckets with stones were moved to a corner using the dolly truck. All the rubbish was put in appropriate recycling bins and all the bins are back on the stone area neatly lined up (with bits from the raised beds on top with bin bags/ bubble wrap/ old jigsaw board stopping too much paint getting on the bins. Sloshed more water on the path and scuffed any paint spots with the sole of my boots (they will be thrown out once the worst of the painting is done) so no dalmation patterned path.
Pretty much done in. Scrubbed my hands and knees to mid thigh area (resting bits on or alongside them whilst painting). Ate the last piece of hot choc fudge cake (got some warm calories in me fast) and then put breaded mushrooms and wedges in the oven. Lay down and read my book (and did a few stretches/ flexing tense muscles) whilst mum watched 2 films and laptop was handed back at 10 pm. Bed soon.
Today I am grateful for getting an awful lot of work done, for not having to do more painting tomorrow (may not do anything at all, just move a couple more things so the window cleaner can get round easily), for being totally free of worry (so tired can only think about basics - being clean, having food, sleep) as I know I have done as much as I am capable of today (probably gone beyond my limits but can have a guilt free leisure day tomorrow and sod the housework). Life is simple really. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage6 -
