Friendship
It's not what we have that matters in life, it's who we have in our life.
A true friend is someone who thinks you are a good egg, even if she knows you're a bit cracked.
Stay close to people who feel like sunshine
You and I are more than just friends. We're like a really small gang
Friendship is the comfort of knowing that even when you feel alone, you're not
True friends are those rare people who come to find you in dark places and lead you back into the light
Friends come and go like the waves on the ocean, but the true ones stay like an octopus on your faceMy mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage4 -
Didn't use my eye drops yesterday, so the laptop was too much early on. Having a 'lazy' day but quite a lot of clutter clearing is happening. Have reached the magic point where I condense two boxes of embroidery threads into one. Many trips to the bin and focusing on the 'annoying bits' to tackle next.
Grateful for easy food (cheese and grapes - both need using up), still finding bits in hidden corners of the freezer, moving the drill into the tool box (the drill bit is poking through the bag about 1" and I caught my foot on it twice yesterday), getting there slowly. No need to go shopping. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage5 -
Well, I didn't get for my walk to the fruit shop. M & S were highly efficient and arranged a delivery of a case of wine today instead of the middle of next week so we stayed in as we didn't want to miss it and have the hassle of rearranging for another day. I should point out that we didn't actually pay for the wine. We discovered gift vouchers that we were given about two years ago and since we can't physically to get to a store and didn't really need anything anyway Himself decided to treat himself.
Some of my seeds arrived too so I'm hoping to get them planted at the weekend.
No baked potatoes so pizza from the freezer instead.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.6 -
The car is back from its service and I am £270 lighter. They replaced a broken spring , and I will need a few bits doing in a few months - advisories, so will sort those when they need it.I have made 2 planters today, and for the first time ever I have hit my thumb with a hammer! The yard is much clearer now all the wood has been used for the project, and everything is looking much neater. The garage is near a lovely samosa shop, so we have all got a celebratory samosa because the car has made it through another year. I am ready to celebrate anything right now. Even the 12th birthday of a car. As I was spending anyway, £2.40 on samosas seemed reasonable.Supper is homemade pizza, all from stores. Today is DH's payday, and this is the last weekend of February to get things done and off the list before March, so I am planning on being busy this weekend.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Evening turtles
Scraped an NSD today so that's 16. Sorted out what was left in my bank account and paid an extra £70 off my car and £75 off the clothes I bought earlier this month. Also got paid £5.44 for some books I got rid of (it's more about getting rid than making money for me!). Sorted March's budget and should be able to save a lot plus pay extra off the car and my back procedure, so things are looking good.
Did loads of much needed chores around the house today, put new silicone behind the kitchen sink, dyed a hoody I'd got bleach on so I can now wear it again (and more importantly don't need a new one!), touched up paint in both bedrooms. All frogs I'd been putting off and was surprised at how little time they actually took.
Grateful for walks in the sunshine, getting those frogs off my back, and having freedom in my budget to make extra payments (especially when I don't mess it up like I did last month!).6 -
Today I am grateful for a restful day, for a lovely walk with dd, for the Alaskan Bush People being ok, for hm fish + chips for tea, for choices.
