with the end of the lockdown in sight now,(all be it, at the end of a long tunnel) just wondering what will be the 1st thing you're going to do?. I know mine is going to be getting a few friends and neighbours together and going for a good curry and a few beers. social distancing guidelines allowing of course.

I didn't say it was banished, or about to vanish. I said the end is in sight.0

I'm not expecting much from this year in the slightest. I did wonder if I'd get to Rome for New Years Eve this year, but that's as far as I got.
I'll start thinking about planning a holiday to celebrate my 40th Birthday next year once there's some more confidence.
Other than that I think I'd be happy to just give my Mum and Dad a cuddleMake £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023

I am not sure about the other home nations but in England, AIUI, the current lock-down is until at least mid-February. It is optimistic to think that won't be stretched until at least 1st March. Then we'll probably be into Tiers again with tight restrictions for some while on. At the moment, furlough and SEISS are structured to cover up until end April, so that gives a strong indication that there won't be a whole-sale easing until at least May. The budget may give an indication as to whether that is a realistic time scale.clive0510 said:with the end of the lockdown in sight now,(all be it, at the end of a long tunnel) just wondering what will be the 1st thing you're going to do?. Ideas of a beer and curry seems far far away.1

ok well in that case we can manage this summer with the patio, beer bought in (or maybe get the homebrew going), and curry in the slow cooker!Grumpy_chap said:
