Hey everyone,
Just to summarise the current situation, I purchased a mobile phone on December 9th 2020 however I had chosen to cancel the order. The phone was sent to me but I refused the delivery however, according to The Royal Mail Tacking System, the phone has not been returned to Major Mobiles UK. Apart from the brief telephone conversations I had with 2 members of staff before Christmas, which I must say they we're extremely unprofessional, rude and dishonest, I have made hundreds of attempts to contact someone at Major Mobiles UK however the phone number that they provide on their website just continuously goes dead after ringing for around 20-30 seconds. After contacting the Royal Mail they say that the seller must raise a lost package to claim compensation and/or investigate the location of the package.
I have formally emailed a complaint to the company on the 8th January but have not received a response. I have also sent this formal complaint by letter via recorded delivery but, like my emails, I have yet to receive any sort of response. I am becoming increasingly concerned as they received the letter on the 8th January but was via a redirected collection point.
Has anyone else experienced Major Mobiles Ltd before?
Has anyone got any advice before I take this further legally?

Can't help but think that you would have been better off accepting the goods first and then returning them. At least you would then get a proof of posting. As it is, you're in the hands of Royal Mail's return to sender handling which might not even track returns.

Would like to know how you got on, hopefully you charged back through your card and got a refund and had a lucky escape from this vile company. We took legal action against them and have a successful claim for a faulty item. Because they are based in the USA and use a forwarding company in the UK it’s impossible to get any response from them and I have see. Reviews stating that if they do get to return anything it is to an address in the states. With a bit of luck this company will get struck off and poor people will stop being ripped off.0
