twice every year as normal, havent come back with a profit win since 2018 ! (maybe this year i will get lucky!
)
Were off in June, then again Sep..
Taking a punt at the Vdara, my thing is all about the pool time in the day, so although its small, hopefully we get decent loungers in the sun !
Last year, me and wifey did: Laughlin (Harrahs) for 2 nights, then Mandalay Bay, then HorseShoe, then Luxor... (i do like Laughlin, got a nice down to earth feel about the place!)
Also stayed at Park MGM in Sep (on the day of the MGM shutdown!)
This year as above, its 2 nights in LA (to hit up Six Flags theme park), then Vdara, then Laughlin (Harrahs), then Luxor......... and come Sep, already booked Park MGM again ! I best start saving, proper!!

Our first trip anywhere since the dreaded Covid started.Had enough of not getting our Vegas fix, so we’re booked for end of June.Decided it’s time to start living again.Comped stays at Aria & Luxor, use Wynn Slots rewards I’ve had for about last 5 years for a couple of nights, and change of stay downtown, we’ll be using the El Cortez for a couple of nights for the first time.10 nights in all, looking forward to it, quite a bit new for us to see since last visit in 2019.0

Booked some flights to LA for later this month, just for a week and we were going to do a few days in Vegas with my two (grown up) boys, however even places like the Luxor were coming up at £700+ for three nights for one room, so we binned the idea and we’re going to New York and Boston. Still expensive but not as bad as that.Got quite a few other trips planned elsewhere in the world but we’ll leave Vegas and California for 2025.
Don't know what dates you were looking at (Super bowl in Feb and F1 in Nov will obviously off the scale!) but I can get 4nights comped and other nights (except Sat) at around $13 per night with the resort fee on top.0 -

I’ve just checked, it’s $270 a night plus resort fee. That’s on MGM Rewards.0

There must be something on mid week - I have checked Allegiant stadium and can't find anything - perhaps a big conference that side of town?0 -

So does anyone have any exciting trips planned this year?
I've given up on Vegas for now due to spiralling costs, but still see the odd thing pop up on Instagram etc that hooks my interest and I'm sure I'll get dragged back there again if the right deal comes (free flights and hotel would be a good start 🤣)
Putting limits on the bartop video poker, no cocktail waitresses, 3 Zero roulette, 6 deck auto shuffling machines on blackjack, charging for bread at the restaurants, it's all added up. It's almost as like they don't want gamblers anymore. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -
stoneman...im sorta in a similar boat as you, as i think i wont ever get back to vegas...though i often cehck this thread and sometimes watch vegas themed videos..i sometimes get excited and think *check prices check prices* and then i do, then try figure out adding on resort fees and the 10 hour + flight over, then add on money for food, some money for shows and well that exciting feeling sorta goes away.
kind regards

Hi everyone. Is there much around here on Vegas weddings - specifically the apostille process?
I'm British but my fiance is Italian. Reading online, the whole process of getting a marriage certificate (we leave 5 days after the wedding) and then an apostille seems difficult. Expensive too.
The chapel has a pricey package for sorting this all out but does recommend a better way that's also cheaper?0
