Hubby went down to Asda by himself last night and said just after him a family of 7 (2 adults and 5 kids) were trying to get in and the bloke was arguing with security. Unbelievable!Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £24,616.090

Since my friend shops on her own, sticking to a list and a meal plan she sets out the day before she goes shopping, she has saved about £80-100 a month,0 -
And this is one of the reasons why there are so many more children in schools this lockdown, the list of key workers is so wide that, for example, if one parent has a job at Costa, McDonalds etc, even if just a few hours a week, they are a ‘key worker’ and can send their children in to school, even if they work evenings and are sat at home all day.IMO the list of essential services and key workers needs to be tightened up.2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shadingEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endMFW #4 OPs: 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07

My shopping trips are a mixture of what I know I need and wandering round looking for inspiration/offers/whatever.
Nothing wrong with that.
PS I am not the "type" who bins lots of food, whatever that means. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1 -

Andy_L said:For the people who are classed as "Critical" workers I would remove the following only remove "religious staff", however I would also much more strictly enforce the criteria, which too often are stretched to breaking point. With nearly three times as many people claiming in 2021 that they are "Critical workers" as were "Key workers" during the first lockdown. We have not suddenly tripled the number of people working in critical professions, we have just allowed the definition to be applied far too loosely.1
