It sounds like the Sainsburys one is definitely worth considering and accepting. I know money isn’t everything but working 7.5 hours less and earning £188 seems like a pretty good deal. In ‘normal’ 9-5 working day hours you’re practically getting £188 more for working 1 full day less!!As others have said, sometimes a change of direction is a good thing. Especially if you feel like you’re a bit stuck in your job and can’t see any career progression.Do you know if there are potential Sainsburys perks further down the line, I.e, staff discounts and such?1

Sounds like Sainsbury's have a lot to offer. Also in the future, if you decided you wanted to change your hours or role I am guessing it wouldn't be too difficult. As well as opportunities to take on more responsibility, get promoted.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

Hi Jade, if the hours suit you better then why not. I personally don’t like idea of working weekends but as others who do it tell me days off during week are better as everywhere is quieter.I’ve been in my work for 16 years 😱😱, I was going to look for something else when my son Left school five years ago 🤣🤣.Don’t sit in a rut if there are other options go for it - as you can tell I don’t practice what I preach 🤣🤣.Are you still managing ok with the two jobs1

Wow that's a long time! I don't mind working the weekends at the moment as it's not manic in sainsburys. Yes doing fine, just my main job is boring.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe boards and spending & discounts boards. Morning nearly Afternoon!
Not much going on here either, just thinking about the Sainsburys job. I've been offered to work 8 hours a day (4am-12PM) or (5AM-1PM) Paid break, staff discount and incentives. I would be on £81 per shift 5 days a week. So looking at around £320 better off a month AND I get the rest of my day/evening to myself. I'm really considering it.

That does sound like a good offer
Is it a permanent work contract or a fixed term contract?1 -

Hi Jade,
How is it going? I've agreed to help a friend out with the online shopping from 24th Nov to 23rd Dec at my local Sainsbury's....i've either had a moment of madness or gone clinically insane - or both?!! Haha.
My full time job is quiet in December and I am pretty much done for the year by the 12th so I don't mind giving them a hand for some shifts, they don't have to spend hours training me I can just go in and get on with it. I will be finishing at 7am though as don't want to deal with customers (other than Xmas week when the stores open at 6am)!!
You'll get your discount card after 3 months of continuous service, don't forget to book some holiday before March if you do stay on after Xmas.
You must be putting quite a bit towards your debts now?If you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can't, you won't.
Secured/Unsecured loans x 1
Credit Cards x 8 (total limit £55,050)
Creation FS Retail Account x 1
Creation Credit Sale 0% x 1 = £112.50pm x 20 mths
0% Overdraft x 1 (£0 / £250)
Mortgage Outstanding - £137,707.00 (Payment 13/360)
Total Debt = £7,400 (0%APR) @ £100pm - Stoozing0
