Okay so I've paid Barclaycard in full, rounded down most of my CC and loan balances. Payday from Sainsburys is next Friday but I get my payslip this Thursday so I can work out in advance how much I can pay towards the CCs and Loans. Cars booked in for the end of the month and the flooring is laid in the living room.

    Downside

    I've got a cold
The kitchen flooring needs to be done

So, I'm thinking of leaving my full time job of 5 years and going full time with Sainsburys! Not until after Christmas though. Something to think about

Yep! I've been doing my current job for 5 years and still at the same position as to when I started. I can also do less hours at Sainsburys (30) where I do 37.5 here and I will be earning £1488 at Sainsburys so £188 more. Plus, I would get the whole rest of the days with Sainsburys as I would finish at 10am. Overall I just seem more interested in it than my current job as here I'm just sat in the cold being bored all day

I did get offered a General Assistant/Shopper role but it's immediate start and I couldn't do it as I need to give a few weeks notice I believe.

Then go for it :D sometimes change is good. It sounds like Sainsburys have made a good impression on you. I think sometime we can stay in a work place longer than we should because it is comfortable and we kinda know what we are getting. It does appear the Sainsburys option would work out better for you in a few ways so sounds a good move.

I left a job the same when I had been there 4 years, I didn't hate the job but I lead a team for 6 months and then got rejected when I applied for it long term and it made me think if I am not moving forward then I want out, sometimes we just need that push or alternative option

Agreed! I won't do anything until after Christmas now though. Yes agreed I would get better working hours although earlier but I don't mind.

Oh! That sucks. Agreed though I think it's just due to the fact that I'm comfortable here and it's now just tedious and boring. The money isn't an issue in either jobs I would just like more time at home rather than at an office/warehouse for 8 hours a day.

    I'm seriously considering it.

It's not even about getting more money anymore. Although it's nice:lol:

I just don't see myself moving forward and I'll always be stuck in a rut of doing the same thing. 10 years from now I could be doing the exact same job. BORING!!

Time to move my butt into a better direction.
