I have cleaned thoroughly all through upstairs - this included putting the large money plant that lives on the bathroom windowsill into the bath and giving it a nice shower! - and hoovered all the way down the stairs.
Now to make tuna pasta salad for lunch before I take Rosie out for her walk.
Well done kazwookie on finding a solution to the mirror problem!

Hi Tooch - welcome back.
Various bits of gibble homed; all ironing up to date and now airing. Been in touch with Vets; they have the flea tablets.
Fat chewed with colleague; work is changing as we have more KW/vulnerable children coming in - we will have 4 bubbles open. Strangely it appears I will be going in half-a-day less but given I am effectively working everyday anyway I shan't moan.
Been for a walk with my friend - we both walked to a playing field in between where we live and walked around it. I was out for 75 minutes with 60 minutes (apparently) of brisk walking. For some reason my app records more brisk walking that hers does - and it's the same app. Perhaps it's my age *giggles*. I have been out for a walk every day for a week - v. pleased with self.
I'm still mulling over how to strip the sills of varnish prior to glossing - but it occurs to me that b-and emm might sell stripper.

Welcome to newbies.
I was determined - fairly - to stick to the list this week but have deviated already.
- 1 load washing done, hung out, brought in.
- Decided to go for a walk after breakfast as Mr N had phone calls booked with registrar then funeral director for later in the day. Lovely and sunny but very muddy - don't know when I'll get back to running again.
- Threw out some defunct flowers from the lounge. Had a quick look round and actually it is ok, Mr N hoovered it on Sat.
- Filled bird feeders.
- Had big email cull.
- Various discussions throughout the day about the Aga Saga. Have finally given in and decided to keep the range as a cooker only, and buy a 'proper' boiler. Yesterday we both felt cold, I think it is just seeping into the house and we're losing the will. Engineer is likely to be able to fit it before the weekend; under the circumstances they have given us a reasonable deal - we just need to close our eyes to all the extra cost this fiasco has incurred.
- Rang/messaged/emailed several friends.
I can't think what else I have done, other than read through the eulogy which BIL has drafted, hovered around while Mr N made his phone calls to support him etc. I haven't heard back from uni so still don't know if I am 'let off' working in Jan.
Drum practice next.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.10 -

I had a nice cuppa and a custard doughnut before doing myself a hot water bottle and laying in bed.10 -
Loonng day at the paid stuff, yoga done, bed made, DW emptied and refilled. Thats my sum total of activity today.
Everyone is anxious about Covid here, not helped by the fact that we live in a tourist area and have had an influx of visitors this weekend, which means locals are worried about going out and walking anywhere.
Bedtime for me I think.9 -
Welcome back Tooch.
As I have done WMx3 this afternoon, the radiators and airers in my nice clean bathroom are now festooned with all the clean washing... Sadly the tidiness didn't last long!11
