Good morning!
Thanks Natty for the lists, and thanks Valli for last week. I will try harder this week, but it so hard to get motivated.... LR is a good place to start - the cushion covers need to go in the wash. We took grumpy dog for a long walk yesterday, then left him in the kitchen to dry off. Unfortunately he
wasn't dry when he was allowed back in! 🤦♀️ Pets were de-flead last week, so that's done 😊
I need to phone the vets, to book the ninja kitty in for his 'op'. I'm hoping this will calm him down a bit, or at least we can let him out without worrying about increasing the local cat population! He keeps getting 'amorous' when snuggling down on fluffy things, such as DD2'S dressing gown! 😱 I have not come across this before - is that normal?!
First things first - I need to get up! I have had a cuppa, but need some breakfast.
Have a good day everyone. Hugs, sticks and spoons in abundance where needed - help yourselves!9 -
OH stuff that was on the stairs taken up and put away
Kitchen island cleared and wiped, same for half the table (coin collection on other half), one side of the sink surfaces cleared and cleaned too, just other side left to do. 2 loads of WU done, 1 put away, 1 drying, 1 left to do but in soaking. Missing serving spoon found under the cooker.
WM on.
DD2 has had another internship refusal so nothing in the pipeline now. Need to boost her to get on with applications again.
Off to look at the dining room table which is covered in treasures the girls found in the garage loft yesterday.9 -
Oh, I meant to say....Fayolle, I have just read something about driving practice is not allowed in England! Even with household members!! Just thought of you, and don't want you getting a fine. Don't take my word for it - check the gov.uk website.9

GI.. Noz was a humper too.. Neither of his brother were, just him.. I had a female once who came into season very young.. she would wlk about in front of Boog who had just started crawling wagging her derriere at him. It takes about 6 weeks for the hormones to fully go from the system but it is something that some do continue. good luck getting him booked in.. most vets are only deling with emergencies.
I have a migraine thans to my disgusting neighbour.. reported to police and letting agent.
I might not get anything at all done today.

Morning all xx
Thank you for the thread as always Natty and Valli xx
I kept waking myself up by snoring last night- never done that before. Time to get rid of some of the weight that I've piled on over the last few months methinks. Then I laid in. It doesn't matter- I'm not going anywhere lol. But I do find that over-sleeping puts me out for the day. Another brew might help.
So brew 2 and the dailies first. Hugs and flylady love to you all.

Dailies done, living room dusted, bedroom dusted, bedding changed, second of three wash loads in machine and floors hoovered and mopped. DH has been to docs. I picked up prescription and essentials while he was being seen to. Had a lovely walk with the dogs and saw a friend en route for a socially distanced chat.
Think I'll tidy my nails next. Oh and my fringe which I did a bad job of on Saturday.Spend less now, work less later.8 -
WMx2, 1st load in TD. DW emptied and on a clean cycle.
I have been wrestling with my conscience about going to see my mum. I could meet her tomorrow at a 'local' rhs garden, but it's 10 miles away. I don't think that is 'local'! They are open for local visitors - but are in the middle of nowhere! Prof Whitty has now said about not even seeing support bubbles for 2 weeks, which has started rumours of scrapping support bubbles!! It's my mum's birthday tomorrow. My head says no, but my heart says yes! I have decided, however, to drive to her house today to leave her presents & say hi, and maybe do a video chat tomorrow (I'm working tomorrow). She lives 12 miles away, but is in our support bubble. It is all so confusing!8 -

I’m having a work break atm as it is hard to keep motivated, what with the general situation, our home situation and now having a work lorry stuck in a port due to that other situation. Iyswim...8 -
Cleaned up a cash box and backgammon set found in the loft, both will be put to use. Rest of the WU done, lunch made and eaten. Been for brisk walk with OH after lunch. WM on again.
I feel for you Fayolle concerning that other issue, OH had me wracking my brains this morning to remember what it was like pre single market (I worked for a transport company doing import/export declarations until 1995).
Not sure when I will work again as had a conversation along the lines, you're British aren't you (previously they always wanted to be taught by native speakers) but now not so sure, comments like does that make you more likely to catch and spread the UK variant of virus and when was the last time you went to the UK or met anyone from the UK. Seriously thinking of announcing that I can't do the contract, I only agreed to do it as it would be done by mid April.
Sorry to moan, normal positivity will return shortly.9
