Drumroll please!  - I have defrosted, cleaned out and sorted both fridge freezers.  I hang my head in shame at the amount of ice that had built up in both of them: I don't think I can have defrosted them for over a year.  Don't quite know what made me do it today, but it's done!  And I have listed all the contents of the freezers, to be written up on my new kitchen whiteboard, to help me keep track
Rosie has had her walk, and I have chatted to DS1.  Just time to do an hour of family history before I cook our evening meal.

Done quite a bit today, only floor mopping left which can wait till tomorrow.  But give me strength.  Picked up a shelf today to store dvds so came home and started sorting and tidying.  How is it possible to have empty cases?  Anyway thought I'd got to the end.  Went in another room and discovered another pile which also can now wait for another day.  Then switched on email to find DH has ordered yet more dvds.  I am not a happy bunny.  Good job I'll be in my office soon working.

DH has filled some holes and has done the ironing

Hi all

I was feeling really fed up and grumpy this morning so DH and I took ourselves off for an 8 mile walk, lots of mud, ice, and snow.  We had a little picnic in the snow and came back to a roast dinner made by DS1.

Not looking forward to the paid stuff tomorrow but needs must.  Flying has been very minimal here, I need to make some plans for the week.
