Morning all.
of the 4 sills I glossed yesterday 3 need another coat. The two I stripped of varnish should really have been primed I now realise. Anyway we'll see what coat 2 looks like. I'm thinking they'll need a third coat tomorrow.
As of Monday I am full time but wfh 3 days. And in a room with excellent ventilation.

Morning lovely ladies xx
The usual: I'm up, my bed is made and I've supped brew 1. To add to the mix I have eaten my breakfast and supped brew 2. And unpacked a bag of Christmas presents: the gift bag will go into the stash, the water bottle will be washed and used for work. I've tried to think of a use for the sturdy cardboard cylinder decorated with owls that the bottle came in - but I'm stumped. It's too tall to use as a pen holder. Any ideas or is it destined for the recycling bin?
Colouring book and pens can go with my 'collection' of similar items - now the kitchen table is cleared I have a space to colour in, write, ...study???
Not sure what to do with the pack of three butterfly book marks. They are very pretty but I prefer old fashioned bookmarks - that look like a floppy ruler. Would anyone like a butterfly book mark? I'm happy to post to the first three who PM me.
Better get dressed I suppose. Getting up, dressed and out of the door for 8am is going to be a drag next week - but let's not think about that now. Weekend Willi is here and waving to you all.

Good morning
I slept in - as usual! I am back in bed with a cuppa & just caught up on the thread. Hugs to Narc0. I am glad you have ordered yourself a drum set 😊 you deserve to treat yourself! And Fayolle, hugs to you too. Please don't feel you are whinging! If you need to offload, we are here. Please don't bottle it up!
Todays plan is food shopping, which I am not looking forward to! It is sleet/raining so I am hoping there won't be a queue!! Other than that, I think I will potter around and tick at least a few bits off the list....
DD1 bought herself a new WM. Her 'BiL' came to plumb it in. It is now not working. She had called him back 3 times!! I said straightaway about the transit bolts (this was after the event), and she didn't know what I was talking about. I think we all know what has happened 🤦♀️ She is pulling her hair out, and there is nothing i can do! 😥
Have a good day everyone!

Morning all (waves to weekend willi 😉)
Too far west this time for the snow, thank goodness, but we have rain, rain, rain, and huge puddles.
DD dropped at work but she has just texted to say that the oven has broken - not good when your trade relies on hot pasties. There really isn’t a lot of luck around for anyone atm, is there?
The vague plan is to fly this morning. DH seems to have plans to rip the coving off the landing, which will be noisy and messy. I think he just wants to do something physical and take his frustration out, but really I could do without a room being started and then not finished for years. Again ☹️. Oh well, I will stay downstairs. Plenty of scope for flying there unfortunately.
Small load through the wm, so I will start by hanging that up, then flick the duster around the DR and LR.
Stay warm and have a good day x

Round... offer it on local group for crafting.. someone will want it.
Fay.. they are beautiful! and not too huge.
Just going to make a cuppa and I might think about cleaning something.. but it does seem futile with the girls home. it is decorating I need to do.. so I can get the carpet off the landing.
Moomin has just transferred her trust fund to her own account.. I have encouraged her to learn to drive with it.

For a do nothing day I've done quite a lot. Dogs are walked, dailies done, all windowsills cleaned, washing machine drawer cleaned, living room and dining room dusted. Did some knitting, helped DH with radiators. Going to play some solitaire now. Still no cooker.Spend less now, work less later.9

Very quick one from me, I am still here and fine but had no internet for a week now and Sky and Openreach not helping! If I knew how to tag them on here I would! So work and homeschooling has been impossible. Typing this on my phone with v limited data. Hope to be back soon!9
