Hardly likely to get in the way of a full blooded rant, @KeithP! 🤦♂️😂KeithP said:But @beamerguy, the OP already has a Default Judgment against him. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I will just pay the bill guys, trying to follow newbie threads and templates,it’s just clutching at straws and getting me nowhere fast, while in the meantime the parking company slap on another £40 costs
Sadly the days of ignoring these letters or trying to fight them are long gone like others have said, there’s a ccj at stake which is life changing0 -
No there isn't.IF they take you to court and IF you lose, you pay within usually one month and no ccj appears.Hundreds fight.2

...and here again are the instructions on how to do that that I posted yesterday evening:KeithP said:What you have to do now Anthony is make sure you pay the Claimant the amount specified in full on that Judgment in the timescale allowed.
Failure to do that will mean that you will have difficulties getting credit - think mortgage, car purchase or even a phone contract - for the next six years.
Make sure you pay the money to the address in the box labelled Address for sending documents and payments (if different) on your Claim Form, i.e to DCB Legal Ltd.
You must get a receipt and pass that receipt to the County Court Business Centre before the date mentioned on the Judgment Notice.

Essentially the op
- didn't follow the newbies thread
- didn't file an AoS
- gets a default as no defence filed, as they didn't do so
and then says you can't find?2 -
Not true. You are now scaremongering but yes, surely this is an expensive lesson to you to read advice properly next time.anthonytansley2002 said:I will just pay the bill guys, trying to follow newbie threads and templates,it’s just clutching at straws and getting me nowhere fast, while in the meantime the parking company slap on another £40 costs

You are the only poster who has managed to do this (muck up the AOS even though we show you in pictures what to do) in years. Sorry to break that to you and I wouldn't have said it if you hadn't started making wild claims that 'the days of fighting these are long gone'.
It's dead easy! You didn't read & follow the advice and we can't account for that.
Here is the 'AOS then defence' advice in the NEWBIES thread and I'm not sure how much easier we could make it than showing page by page screenshots of the AOS online process, then a template defence to copy.
Here is a guide to MCOL, how to acknowledge service ('AOS'):

THEN - UNLESS YOU HAVE A PARKING EYE CLAIM (DIFFERENT) - READ THIS TEMPLATE DEFENCE AND EDIT IT TO SUIT:

I researched and looked at all the newbie threads as much as I could,if you can recall this is how I found you guys,I was told first hand to start my own thread and not comment on others
Im 36yrs old, have my own little business, miles off a millionaire, miles off poor, just looking for help with an outrageous fine, remember that first comment I made in the other thread? That gentleman blew my head off,I should of left then and read through my pack and sent off my AOS slip there and then,I’ve ended up following a link and sent a subject access file from the Newbie,id not made all it up.
so it’s not so simple guys, why don’t you tell people to send the AOS slip back immediately from the pack? Why is it links to Thousands of forums, somebody like me is easily lost there
like I said I appreciate you trying to help, but coming here as just added into my fine, they didn’t have a picture of the vehicle In question, how I lost this I’ll never no,I just no first hand I’ve been hugely stung and the stats of 96% win are far from true0 -
And to add to that I genuinely dread to think how much money Martin Lewis has actually cost people trying to fight these guys in court, having spoken to a number of advisors at the court they are far from on our side0
-
This is not a legal assistance forum , it's a parking charge forum dealing with parking charge notices , not court claims or legal advice
Feel free to consult a lawyer if you require legal advice , that is what Martin Lewis would tell you , same as paying a solicitor when buying a house , or your business's contracts etc , not our problem
The newbies FAQ sticky thread has extensive opinions on what to do if a court claim arises , posting an AOS has been an option for many years , but since it went online then using MCOL is recommended , the use of MCOL has plenty of guidance on this government provided legal system so not within our remit
KeithP told you what to do on 7th January , you didn't follow his advice properly
You seem to think that we volunteers do all the work whilst you do nothing , we don't get paid enough for that !!3
