That is not a fine , it's a live Court claim from the CCBC in Northampton , where you have left your VRM showing plus your login reference is also showing , remove , redact and repost
Contact the mse admins to get a name change , like the rules here tell youThe PCN was £100 or less , not £170 , they have artifically inflated the claim , not allowed
Ensure that you have updated your V5C asap if you don't want a £1000 fine from the DVLA
Email a SAR to nexus ASAP , attaching a copy of the claim form as proof of I D under the GDPR law , also attach copies of 2 recent redacted utility bills as well
They have inflated the claim to over £300 , when it should be £200 or less !!!
Claim date is 31 Dec 20202 -
A live court claim from 2015 requesting £318.11 with no prior notice (take it that it’s been going to my old adress for 5 yrs) I’ve just been scanning through my wage slips I wasn’t even the driver I can prove I was at work in the otherside of the country will this help my case or am I best to just pay this to avoid Bayliffs :-(0

am I best to just pay this to avoid Bayliffs :-(Who's told you about Bayliffs (sic)? They're wrong! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Fight it , as Keeper and not driver you have no liability under POFA
Highview have never complied with POFA , so can only pursue the Driver , who they don't know and you won't tell them
Even if you lost in Court you would pay £200 or less , not £3182 -
Thankyou guys I will fight this, tbh if I’d of received the first letter for a reasonable charge I would of paid it.Never changed my V5 to my new adress here as I own the property where the vehicle has been sorn since 2017,but I will change first thing in the morning just to make sure0
-
If you own the other property then there is no issue in having it SORN there , but you need to ensure that you receive all mail in your name arriving there promptly
As keeper you had no liability to pay it , I would never pay a bill or invoice if I had no legal liability !!1 -
As mentioned earlier, you have left a horrifyingly large amount of identifying information visible in your opening post.
With the both the Claim Number, your vehicle reg.no. and your MCOL password visible untold damage can be done.
And as you have based your forum username on your real name, you will want to get your forum username changed to something completely anonymous.
To help with that, have a read of this item from the Forum's FAQs:Can I change my username?
In most circumstances, we don't allow this.
The only reason we will change your username is if it puts your privacy at risk e.g. you've inadvertently registered using your name, email address or something which gives away your identity within your username.
If you fall into this category, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com your current username, the email address you registered with and three alternative usernames in order of preference.
With a Claim Issue Date of 31st December, you have until Tuesday 19th January to file an Acknowledgment of Service, but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.To file an AoS, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.Having filed an AoS, you have until 4pm on Tuesday 2nd February 2021 to file your Defence. That's over three weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute. To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service instructions.Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.3 -
the car has never been registered here so has to be from my license. It isn't from your driving licence. They can't get that data. Your new address has not been provided by the DVLA.
The horrific robo-claim 'solicitor' has done a financial trace and found you that way (yes it's legal) but at least the claim was filed to the right address and you;ve come here. All you need to know is in the NEWBIES thread and the TEMPLATE DEFENCE thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
