went in the 99p shop today they
have a set of two coffee mugs
in a box and there is also a
    matching ceramic spoon for
each mug.I noticed on each spoon
there is a little hole in the handle
end so you could thread a little ribbon
and make a bow on it.I know I have
probably described this not too well.
But if you have a 99p shop near you
you will know what I mean. Also there
are two designs in these one set has Roses
on and is Ok`ish but the other set had nice
african daisies on it in vivid colours, very
eye catching. Also the clear front box they are
in you could easily take out one mug and spoon
and add a towelling cup cake.

I got really nice mini speckled eggs in there
smaller than usual, really nice decorations on
home baked rice crispy cakes and fairy cakes.

If only there were a 99p shop.................sounds like they have some really good stuff in there.

Got my first 'yule log' all rolled up..........now....how do I hold it all together before I put a ribbon round it ? Not too sure about using glue dots as I want the flannels to be useable so dont want the glue to be a problem getting off. Are pins the only other answer ?

on the big one my neice made we
used a couple of peices of sellotape
underneath. It made it easier to slide
    it in the bag.
Good idea about the elastic band

Mary43 Its an excellent shop and as
often as not better than the £ shops
the one here is huge. They were doing the
Lind bunnies 2 for 99p today

Has anyone seen the new cupcake range in
Morrisons yet ? Curious to know what it
    looks like.

Thanks chatty - I've got elastic bands round it at the minute but wasn't sure whether I needed something to hold it a bit more in place down the edges of the flannel.

Went to Morrisons today and no cupcake stuff - very disappointed. Did pick up 2 wooden containers (called Nik Nak Trays) for £1.78 each. Thinking of using as mini hampers. See what you guys have done to me, I didn't need wooden containers but I can imagine using them for presents in some way so had to have them!!!

My cupcake cases have been dispatched - hoping to get them next week but with Easter in the way maybe not?

Also bought most of the contents to make my first nappy cake - well, I'm going to give it a go anyway!

Loving the challenges of making original pressies and saving money at the same time!

I bought new new buckets in the charity shop today, they're red and heart shaped and only cost £1 each.

I feel a red theme coming on!

No sign yet of the cupcake stuff in Morrisons, I think they will wait until Easter stuf is cleared out.

My cupcake mugs and yellow cupcakes went down well today, every one was full of compliments, they asked: Where do you get all those ideas from, so original? I told them from my friends on MSE! :grouphug:

They were lovely! Glad they were appreciated, it's nice when people compliment you on the things you have given thought and time to make. Did you wrap them is cello in the end?
