They were lovely! Glad they were appreciated, it's nice when people compliment you on the things you have given thought and time to make. Did you wrap them is cello in the end?

Yes, I wrapped them in cellophane, looked really cute.
  • Im not kidding there is a new "fairy cake" range in Morrisons leaflet, maybe its only selected stores that get the range????

I believe you ;):D I think our Morrison will wait until Easter is over so they will have an isle to fill with all sorts of lovely cupcake stuff (I hope)

had a look in ours and could not see
them I think your right they probably
will be waiting for Easter to be over
and done with Easter stuff in ours takes
up a whole aisle so there will be a
massive gap to fill after Easter.

    Just been making Easter cakes
and chocs, first time ever and they
    look really nice.

did everyone have a good Easter ?

I think I am well and truly sick of choclate
well for a while at least.

I did make this cushion cover
it was a feather cushion I had
that was 24 inch square, the cover
was on the point of falling apart
so I went mad and bought this
rose fabric on ebay, bit of a shock
price wise the quallity is lovely so
it should last a good while.

I have a huge settee thats quite old
but is so comfy, all the cushions accross
the back have long since been binned
and been replaced with new feather ones
and that where it started we now have a whole
array of different cushions, big ones ,little ones
odd shaped ones, all different shapes and all different
covers. Some were presents others we have
between us made or bought.it never looks
the same two days running. But one thing it
has in its favour we can pile loads of kids on
it,adults are forever falling asleep on it.
Its long enough to sleep on if someone
comes to stay.thankfully it has a loose
cover on it,which is just as well as its
had umpteen drinks spilt on it,chocolate
and food smeared on it.Not forgetting
the sticky sweets that get found on and in
it periodicley. Its still going strong and shows
little signs of wering out except for the odd
split or two on the cover.

Looks inviting..................did you make all those cushions yourself ?
Our sofa is a comfy old one with a throw over it (otherwise it would be the wrong colour for the room) and a load of cushions in different colours and designs -though mostly terracottas and greens...........all got from charity shops or boot fairs

    Your settee sounds lovely too
I have a tried to have a colour
    theme.The room has lavender
    blue walls,ivory paintwork and lavender
    doors.But all these different colour
cushions keep finding their way here
so we have kind of given up trying to
    get it to blend in.

This settee started life as a blue/grey
colour but over time and mucky kids brushing
up to & against it in their rush from the garden
it developed an awful browny stain on the
front of one of the arms.So I dyed the cover
navy blue.I worked really well and looked better
than when it was new.If anyone is ever considering
this do give a try, then go for it because ours looked
like a brand new settee after we did it.

Good idea. Our furnitures a bit of a mixture of odds and ends we got from second hand shops, hence the throws to try and link them together a bit.
