Got my deep red flannels (see picture) in Asda 45p each. They are nice and thick.0

I was in Asda tonight they had in the
deeper colours was a few fucshia
and one purple left. All the white ones in the
cheapies were sold out again!
Went down the aisle where they have the
bubble bath stuff and noticed a really nice
lookingred one very similar to mumoftwo
SAinsbury cherry but it was a strawberry one,
I was on the hunt for the Asda own brand
9p a bottle shower gel,I know seems
unbelieveable,but they have a thread
running on here in `quick grab it while
you can` and it was indeed 9p for a 250ml
bottle. My kids get through shower gel like
sweets.:j:j:j0 -

I spotted the cupcake teatowels but they only had the pack with 1 cupcake tea towel and 2 stripey ones... I didnt really like the stripey ones! O well!
thats a shame, but you know there
are five t towels in that pack.I think
that the ones with two cup cake towels
in have probably gone first.
Must have another look in Primark
because they had sold out of a lot of stuff
when I was last in there and were restocking
ours is a massive store and its always packed
with long queues at the tills.
It must be a job to keep up.:j:j:j0 -

Im a flannel and scrunchie user... I cannot touch sponges, they make me feel all funny especially covered with soap... urghhh!:rotfl:
Most people do like a nice soft face cloth, and even if peeps dont use face cloths, the cupcake muffins look lovely just displayed in a bathroom.
A lot of my friends are using those exfoliating gloves at the moment, Im going to have a go at making some cupcakes up using those.0 -
I'm a flannel and scrunchie user...............never got to grips with sponges somehow...............old habits maybe ?
Wonder if sponges (providing they were the right size) would look ok as a cup cake ?Mary

Hello Everyone :hello:
Just to let you know that I got my Strawberry Muffin Cake stickers today so if anyone wants any please pm me and I'll send you some.
They'll be in a strip of 9.
Also my cherries came last week - they are fab - really realistic - so I just need to get some paper doillies (sp?) and I'm well away for swiss rolls!!
Had another thought (dangerous I know) - what about scrounging some cappuccino cups from somewhere and putting beige flannels in with a little sugar stick or wrapped chocolate?
You could even pop in a sachet of instant latte or something!
Well, my 2 year old is doing 'danger dives' in order to get my attention, so must dash.
Hope you're all having great weekends
MFM
xI didn't expect to get anything done today - and so far I haven't been disappointed. :whistle:0 -

Excellent idea MFM !! Love it. Might be able to pick up mug with Cappacino printed on it from a charity shop.........that would do...........in fact I think I've got one lurking in my cupboard I had bought me and never use............lol Love to get hold of the ones from the kiosks though, trouble is, where I live, takeaway coffee of any sort is just given in a plain white polysturene cup (think I spelt that wrong.......lol)Mary

Where I work we used to be able to get those nice cappuccino cups in our coffee area, but work soon discovered how much cheaper those nasty burn your hand plastic cups are....
If anyone has a friend who works in a takeaway coffee bar it may be worth asking if they can sneak a few "spare" ones for you.
Or pop along to Macro and see if they sell them in packs.
I was thinking aong the lines of a gift cup... in the bottom have say some mini foil wrapped choccies (possibly make your own using melted choccy in a silicone ice cube tray) or some yummy fudge then maybe add a coffee scented candle and pop in the top a brown or cream scrunchie to look like a frothy hot chocolate or hot choc with cream...
Just an idea0 -
Forgot to say, I got some gold paper plates in Sainsburys today only 30p for 8, Im using them to display the muffin cupcakes at my craft sale.
Sainsburys had loads of bits in the sale, there were also some gold paper napkins that were 25 for 50p.
Worth putting away for Xmas crafts/ cake gifts/ or anything really....0
