I have been watching this thread with interest and looking out for bits andpieces for the cakes. Anyway bought 4 flannels for £1.50 in primark - rally good quality when compared with the tesco value and not too much dearer. Also went into poundland and found 5 soap petal roses in a box so bought a packet. Really love the cherry cake with the shower gel, brill idea :-)

Thanks!!! actually, I did give it as a present. My youngest sister had a baby last week and I went to see her this morning and I gave her these. She was really impressed! It took her a while to realize that it was home made! she thought I had bought it and when I told her I had made it she was dead impressed!!.. and really chuffed.

I got my cherries from here:

rosekitten- Ive made the cherry muffins with red flannels and I got mine in Primark 2 for £1. The red is inbetween red and burgundy colour.
I spotted the cupcake teatowels but they only had the pack with 1 cupcake tea towel and 2 stripey ones... I didnt really like the stripey ones! O well!0
