I think these would be lovely for Easter!! What do you think Rosekitten?
Are these the same size as your strawberry ones? 7cm? It's hard to see from the picture how big these cases are.0 -
Felt I must tell you all how cool these 'cakes' are. I'm going to keep an eye out for some cheap flannels - and may splash out on those muffin cases. They would look great in the hampers I'm making for the SIL's.

Tesco's value white flannels are 20p each, I used them for the inside of the chocolate log and for the Christmas cake, the good thing about them is that they are plain with just a small hem.
I got the brown flannels from Morrison 89p for 4. Ok for chocolate log with if you bought the white ones for cupcakes there might be a problem because they have a sort of thickened pattern on the sides. I suppose you could roll them to the inside.0 -

thats who I ordered mine from
those WTP ones are lovely and your
right they would be lovely as
Easter cakes.Yes they are the
same size as mine.
We did check localy
in a catering wholesalers and they
cannot get hold of this kind of case,
unless it was an order for 1000`s
so the seller on ebay does seem to
be the best option for us.
I know I had visions of them taking
ages to arrive, but was quite pleased
at the speedy arrival time because
when you just glance quickly over
the selling page its easy to assume
they are in the UK.
Also it did occour to me that those
bags and tubs of pom poms you see in
craft shops would be ideal .As they are
virtualy weightless and would stick
easily with either double sided tape
or popped in place with a concealed
straight pin.:j:j:j0 -
I will have a look round here
for a flannel and take some
pics of how we folded them
for the cup cakes:j:j:j0 -
Now why didn't I spot all of this before Christmas? Now have ideas for next year I guess and maybe birthdays/easter etc.
I make packaging of sorts so has sparked off ideas there too.. fab stuff.

I think these look really good, and will definitely be doing them next Christmas - I'm sure the 'swiss rolls' would look great in a chocolate themed hamper!Go your own way..

the seller is called supplies1234
they seem quite realistic on price because
I paid £1.49 for the round pearl headed ones
in John Lewis, took them back when I
saw those because I am sure the flower
headed ones if you could get them would
be a lot more expensive than a £1.
