Aren't they just beautiful.
I'm probably being an idiot but are they fake leaves & roses in the bouquets?
I'd love to make something like that but i'm not very creative & would probably end up making a right mess of it. They are very expensive though aren't they. I take it the socks & little baby outfits aren't from primark then :rotfl:
They are beautiful, I love the idea of the one for someone moving into a new house - with the rubber gloves, micro cloths etc, that's really beautiful!

My friend is getting married in November and she's on a tight budget. Does anyone have any ideas what I could for her in the way of something like this?
Detailed instructions would be good to please! lol

MFM.................thats brilliant !................can't wait to get some fluffier flannels and have a go.
Thanks.
I got my flannels from Tesco. Some were 25p, but I got the 70p ones - they're really thick and fluffy.

xI didn't expect to get anything done today - and so far I haven't been disappointed. :whistle:0 -

Those wedding cakes its just an idea
and all guess work, but might help you out
but I think they are one flannel at the
base rolled just like the muffins and
then another flannel cut in two
and rolled.each layer with a piece of
ribbon wrapped around it.
I wondered if it had somthing running through the
centre to hold them all together and thought a
cut down wooden skewer(Tesco 34p a pack)
might work.trailing flowers wired together
are those silky roses on wire. All covered in
covered in the sheer fabric, cant remember the
name of it but I know its really cheap to buy.

This thread is amazing - I would never have even have thought of doing this so thanks everyone.
Here is my effort. I'm sticking to strawberry muffins.
(Sorry I can't work out how to shrink this picture, so the focus is out).
Have a good day!

this is lovely where did you find the strawberry
for the top of it ?:j:j:j0 -
I've seen some wedding cake ones on another site. They were made with a bath towel on the bottom, then a hand towel and then a flannel on top.
If you go to a wedding supply shop Sally, even hobbycraft you'll find some nice flowers there to decorate them with.
The wooden skewers to hold it all together is a good plan. Or even those garden canes if you have some in the shed/greenhouse/garage.
Get some of your own towels and have a go at rolling them and see how it looks, let us have a seegood luck!

Oh thanks Rosekitten, that's really helpful. Just one question and it might be me being thick here (lol) but when you say cut one in half, won't it fray?
