Princesspoppypop.............I feel sure our local craft shop sells hand made paper...........very tempted to have a look and give it a go.
Thing I have got plenty of is brown wrapping paper and I do have some small luggage tags..............wonder if I could do something more masculine with that.
I know the kind of paper your looking
for,for this I think its called Kraft paper.
But there is a really cheap alternative
thats worth considering first. If you have
a look through the reduced xmas wrapping paper
thats on sale. There is a type that when
you look at it,it looks and feels similar
to brown parcel wrap.one side plain
the other side printed with christmas
designs on it.Some comes in plain colours
stripes,checks etc.Its always the least
popular in the reduced paper and you can
often pick it up for as little as 20p a roll.
But it would look good made into muffin cups.:j:j:j0 -

Cups work out at approx 3p each with postage.
Ideal if you have people you can buy with and split or if you are wanting to make a big batch of flannel cakes for a Summer sale etc. Although you would have to have a lot of space to store 1200!!!
so anyone here cheeky enough to ask
seller a question ?
Good fairy take a look they have some
nice unusual ones
this seller above if you click on the link,
click on list of items and then look through
sellers completed items, wow some of those
are lovely, even heart shaped ones and none
of them sold,I reckoned if they sold them in
smaller batches they would do better.:j:j:j0 -
mary43- The brown paper would be fine I think, Ive got some, so Im going to give it a go... I made one with gift wrap and its fine with flannel in it.
The cake cases we have been ordering from Ebay are very thin- greasproof paper type stuff.
rosekitten- thanks for your help... im searching the net now0 -

Its Mulberry type paper that I used similar to this in the medium grade, its textured, but the one I have also has rose petals in it.

Princesspoppypoppypooshares on the Aus ones? I am desperate for them now lol prettiest I've seen anywhere.
I found myself trawling through Chinese paper suppliers at 2am looking for gingham paper cases lol didn't find any... where do they come from?
I have some weird oval ones too, the pattern is cruddy but they might make a nice shape if you want them as a template?
In fact I can maybe take the different ones apart and scan em in, so you can print your own templates if anyone would be interested? Will check back in a bit, keep me occupied while the wax is setting
Forgive me if I double post, my IE keeps crashing....
I have been on all the asian ebay sites
no luck googled till I am silly and no joy.
It looks like these are made in Malaysia:j:j:j0 -
Oh I found the completed items thing, never knew about that!
Ok I'm going to beg her for smaller listings, watch this space....."The great pleasure of a dog is that you may make a fool of yourself with him and not only will he not scold you, but he will make a fool of himself too."- Samuel Butler0 -
