  • Ive ordered the strawberry cake cartons so I guess I`ll be taking those apart too....

Ive also made a muffin cup out of spiderman gift wrap, but used thick black card for the base... I dont think the boys should be left out.... I rolled up OH black Ted Baker flannel to see what it looked like and it was really effective. Have unrolled and put back now tho... hehe!

Ive put a cream flannel in the green handmade paper cup then popped in a cello bag tied with a length of cream ribbon and made into a bow, then ive used thick brown paper and made a little gift tag and attached it to the top of the bag with a mini wooden peg...

This sounds lovely with the green and cream colours...............make a pretty easter gift.

    Thanks mary43.

I found the paper in my craft box, I got it ages ago from WHSmith when they had a sale on.

Its a pale green with rose petals and leaves , I wish I could make it myself!

this link isn't working for me :(

Princesspoppypoppypoo :D shares on the Aus ones? I am desperate for them now lol prettiest I've seen anywhere.

I found myself trawling through Chinese paper suppliers at 2am looking for gingham paper cases lol didn't find any... where do they come from?

I have some weird oval ones too, the pattern is cruddy but they might make a nice shape if you want them as a template?

In fact I can maybe take the different ones apart and scan em in, so you can print your own templates if anyone would be interested? Will check back in a bit, keep me occupied while the wax is setting :)

Forgive me if I double post, my IE keeps crashing....

Princesspoppypop.............I feel sure our local craft shop sells hand made paper...........very tempted to have a look and give it a go.
Thing I have got plenty of is brown wrapping paper and I do have some small luggage tags..............wonder if I could do something more masculine with that.

  • Men do like a nice soft flannel I think... its just they wont always admit it!!
You could make up some muffin cups with a straight edge rather than a wavy one, and pop a brown flannel in it then tie on your tags with a piece of gingham ribbon or brown parcel string?

Or here is an idea, make a muffin cup and instead of a flannel pop a cream bath scrunchie in it, make it look a bit like whipped cream???

Like the idea of a flannel I think princesspoppypop..........well for my boys anyway. Both in their 30's...........they'll look at bath scrunchie's a bit bemused I think. Sounds good idea though for one of the girls we used to care for...........scrunchie for her, flannel for her OH.
Not sure the brown paper would be stiff enough......would I have to stick it to some card first ?
Never done one of these before and really do want to try but I know me.....if it goes wrong that'll be me and muffin cases falling out.............lol
I'm really going to have to scroll back and have another look at some of the piccys on here.
