thanks for all the pics rosekitten, thats given me lots more ideas too. I like the idea of using a baking tray.

Ideally I'd love to find some knickers with cupcakes on to use but they only seem to do those for children:(

In Primark they are selling underwear with cupcakes on
in the womens section of the store, they also have cute
underwear shorts made in it as well, they sell a matching
night shirt in the same fabric for £3 that goes up to
size 20/22.Here is a pic of it below

I have filled up that tray for you to see
I think those brown cup cases from
Asda give it a very effective look, they
are from two different packs so the colour
match is not great but gives a clearer idea
of how this would look filled.

Also they are selling silver cake boards
10 inches in size, round and square in
Asda for 65p each, the square one could
easily be cut in two if you were looking
for something to place swiss rolls on

Started on my reindeer (yes I know its taken me an age to round to it )
Turned out brilliant...........and just found 3 more brown flannels and a coffee coloured one............................lol
Bought these flannels months back for making yule logs and made as many as I want so looks like a lot of folk are going to have reindeer heads for christmas..........lol:rotfl:

Rooting through upstairs I found two pairs of pale blue and white toastie socks.........thought I could make some sort of cup cake out of them ....maybe. If I cut a shape to go round them will that do as a case for them...? Not worth ordering any just for two and I've got enough card kicking about.

  • With my sock icecreams I cut a 5cm deep piece of card made it into a tube and then pushed the socks in.

I did make a template from waste card that I used to wrap the proper card round and stuck them with double sided tape.

Other than that I put some in hampers just rolled up and tied with organza ribbon
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

Paddingtondoo, wow those icecreams look amazing, well done

I haven't done anything creative for ages, but you are all getting me in the mood again, I still have lots of flannels left from last year, now the question is: will I do Christmas logs again or switch to reindeer, they are so cute, not sure where to buy the bells or brown pipecleaners though, will have to look back to see if I can find it somewhere on this thread.

I got my pipecleaners from Hobbycraft and bells from ebay. I bought these... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/50-pcs-8mm-Silver-Colour-Jingle-Bell-A0069_W0QQitemZ190261671694QQihZ009QQcategoryZ150078QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1713.m153.l1262 but there are others. If you go to Crafts and type bells in the search box you will see what's there. Good luck and happy making!!!
