minding my own business in Primark
I had spotted a pair of cream and
brown striped bed socks with two
pom poms hanging down the front
they were really pretty with a fluffy
border around the top.It occoured to
to me that with careful folding you could
get a pair of these to sit in one of the larger
size cup cases and use one of the pom poms
as a kind of cherry on the top.
Just on the point of folding them in
the shop when my kids appear with their dad
in tow,we HAVE to go as the car parkings
going to cost a small fortune if we dont get
a move on,so i never got to get an idea of
the finished effect. Will have to try again
next time I get a chance to go in there.

Ooooh I love Primark! If they have a sale on I might have to go in. Although my other half hates the place and gets all stressed when he goes in there hehe.

SNAP! :rotfl:although he is normally the one who finds all the cheapy bargains ... we have bought tshirts, trousers, skirts for both kids (obviously no skirts for my son !!) but they were like 20p and 50p each :D

they were only a £1 a pair and that
    was their regular price,not reduced
or anything.I think they were only
new in.I would have bought a pair
but the queue in there was huge,
so I had to put them back, these
kind of socks my nieces love to
wear indoors for pottering about in
so they would have an appeal to
young and old alike. The colours were
virtualy the same as the striped
    cupcake on the front page.

Sorry I know it frustrates you all to have yet another thing on your lists to do but I found this and thought it was beautiful...
