Like that idea Rusty.............might try both ways and see which looks best. I'm not a drinker but OH loves his red wine..........surely he won;t miss a glass.....................lol

Mary, how about try a brown felt tip or marker pen and 'colour in' the pipe cleaners. Hope that doesn't sound too mad :p but my Grandad does this to dye thread for fly tying. Just put the pen on the pipe cleaner and pull the pipe cleaner through.

Hope that helps- I love the soap reindeer and must have a go at making some. Can anyone tell me whether the value soaps are individually wrapped?

    Thanks:D

Hi GISI, the Tesco value soaps aren't individually wrapped but are a good size for the reindeer - and an even better price!

  • got-it-spend-it - rainmac is right, but I have wrapped mine in a layer of tissue paper before and it makes them look nice. Other times I have left them as they are.

    Morning All....

I saw a white flannel 'handbag' in a charity shop the other day, with a £1 price tag :D It didn't look too bad really; the flannel covered the cardboard shape, & then covered with cling film. Little posy embelishment--like you get for making cards--a two line poem about a gift sent with love & an unwrapped bar of soap in the middle...& a piece of white ribbon for the handle.

Wasn't made by one of yooze lot was it :p

Thought these were really cute and would do for toddlers or baby hampers or even on nappy cakes
