Hope the 50 (yes 50!!!) I will be making look that good!!

I'm really confused about those snowmen now Mary as I was sure the page said to use normal sports socks so would they all have heels?? Thought I had saved the page with the instructions but it seems I haven't

hels - brilliant !!! I'm sure mine don't look anywhere near as good - love the embelishments you've put on.

siren - I feel sure it said tubular socks..............is there a thread on here somewhere for it ? If you put it in the 'search' box at the top it might come up.
The one I used was htpp://www.momready.com/articles/content.asp

Think that should come up ok......just copied it off my 'favourites'

ooops........link don't work............I'll check it out and come back

  • You're right Mary!!

I'm obviously going mad I was sure it was sports socks lol!! What is a tube sock? I've never seen those before, got no idea where to get any from, was going to make a couple of little families for my mum and for our flat.

siren -you still should be able to do the snowmen socks I think. I'll have another go at mine tomorrow maybe. I'd just picked up a couple of pairs of girls socks, white with red frill at the top and yesterday when I was having a go I did manage to get it so the heel part stuck out like a sort of nose.............lol Just the stuffing I couldn't get right...........dried stuff showed every bump (thin cotton socks) so I rolled up some spare white flannels.............think I should have added extra one for the body. I'm going to do mine so they're just a body head and hat...............think it just might be less fiddly
