These are my reindeer/rabbit although they are not finished off yet as I havent got any bells yet.

I love everything on here and going to give it all a go---was just wondering how you made these look so neat in middle--i,d have a big lump where the other two flannel edges were then putting the antlers on--so any ides would be welcome,

I've just come across this site, instructions on how to make fimo strawberry's, for all those flannel cakes we are all going crazy about.

that looks great - my cousin would adore it, she loves goldfish :) Would have to rethink using the board pins though - little fingers!
  • I have arranged my flannel cakes and bed sox into baskets and added a bar of soap and tealight candles. I will wrap them at a later time (once Ive ordered the cellophane). Im not sure how to wrap the reindeer soaps yet or quite know what to do with them.

  • Sharono - I just folded the flannel corner to corner and then rolled it down over the soap and bought the two ends in and then adjusted it to neaten.

I havent been able to do the multi coloured cupcakes as mine are still coming out too big to fit in case even though I am rolling tightly.

If anyone has any ideas on how to do a cat out of flannels or a towel I would be interested. lol Thank you for such a wonderful thread.

    Hi Dora,

Rainmac said she was having the same problem with the double cupcakes. I didn't have any problems with any of the 3 I made. it was harder with my pink & white and also blue & white cause they were not square flannels. If you make them slightly wider when folding then they should roll properly.

If anyone wants me to take some pics to show what I mean let me know.

    hi Rusty
if it is no problem I would love some pics of how to do two coloured flannel cakes. I have tried but no way would they fit in the cases:rotfl: I used flannels I already had at home so maybe they were too thick - will buy some thinner ones and try again:D
