 ARRRGGGHHH  can't get the two flannels to fit into the case at all, tried several times this afternoon. I'm using cheapie Wilkos flannels so they are quite thin but can't get them to fit in the case (same type as you used).
If it's no trouble could I please have an idiot's guide to doing it? I have tried wrapping tissue paper inside a brown flannel but this looks truly awful. Please help me Rusty :A
I hate it when I can't do something:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Rainmac you sound like I do with my burnt hand trying to do door hangers!
Ok so I took apart the brown and white one that I made the other week (picture in first post) I hope this helps .. I panicked thinking when I tried again it wouldn't look right but so far so good.
Just to add with 2 flannels (wilkos cheepy ones 25p) it will stick out of the top a little rather than inline with the top of the case.
get your 2 flannels fold them
Place on top of each other
Put the brown one slightly in more than the cream (or whichever colour is on top)
Then start to roll
When rolling there will be some excess at the bottom (but this will be hidden in the case and they still fill out the cases nicely.
Then ..............
ABRACADABRA!
Hopefully this will help ...
Please excuse my swollen hand ... I was trying to be Jamie Oliver in the kitchen last night ... but ended up being more Gordon Ramsey using plenty of F words

Thats a good idea ... do they do silicon hands? ... I was stupid ... after watching Jamie cook some prok chops in an oven I decided to do the same for sunday tea ... I took ot frying oan out of the oven (yes I know pans are supposed to go on the oven but its a metal pan) put in pork chops and then picked up pan to put back in oven ... forgetting it had been in a hot oven for the last 10 mins :rotfl:I had to scrape some of my skin off the handle and felt a little like jekyll and hyde ... except in a Jamie Oliver/Gordon Ramsey kind of wayRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
They sell sillicon oven gloves for £5.99 in Homebase but Morrisons does a cruder looking glove version for £1.99 in pink and bluePucker up and kiss it Whoville! - The Grinch:kiss:0

Hi Mary,
I don't use anything on the 2 coloured ones, they look quite funky just being left without decoration ... I haven't made any single flannel ones as yet. I have made brown and cream, pink and white, nd blue and white cupcakes all of which I have just left undecorated. I guess you could decorate the top of you wanted to but I chose to just leave themRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
may I just say.................i think all the baskets, cake slices, cupcakes, nappycakes, reindeer, rabbits, hampers (have I left anything out?
**) are fantastic; you are all really talented and even if I don't have a go at making any of these things (I like to think that I'm just taking my time choosing what to do - perhaps the goldfish!
) I enjoy reading the posts and seeing the photos.
A big round of applause please for all the crafters on 'Does Anyone Know How I Can Make This'
:T :T :T
** yes I did - bouquets0
